Read moreWent for a dinner for two at this red lobster location on a sunday night. Restaurant was fairly empty and not packed which was nice for conversation. We arrived at our reservation time and were seated about 5-10 minutes after. However after we were seated it did take about 15 minutes for us to even get water.
Nevertheless, we placed our order for cocktails and food. Highly recommend the ruby mule and the spiked pink lemonade. We ordered the lobster bisque and bacon wrapped scallops to start. Our server brought out the bisque to start which was incredible but then we didn’t receive the scallops and went straight to our main course. For our main we ordered the ultimate feast to share and upgraded our side to the crab topped baked potato. The ultimate feast was exactly as expected with fresh lobster and crab and expertly cooked shrimp. The baked potato however was absolutely abysmal, unpalatable, had an unpleasant excessive fishiness to it and we couldn’t stomach more than a bite each to taste.
Service was slow which was unexpected, we were left unattended for an entire hour after receiving our meal. Not once did the server come to check in during our meal. After we finished dining we had to wait a good twenty minutes for her to return so we could get our bill.
To the credit of the server, she did not charge us for the baked potato and the bacon wrapped scallops were not on our bill at all which led me to believe it was most likely not punched in to begin with. During the times she was at our table she was very pleasant and friendly.
Overall, a mediocre experience at this location of red lobster, definitely would hope for some quicker service but tasty food and nice staff. Will most likely not return to this location.
Note: the restaurant was quite warm as well and we began to sweat a bit during our dinner. Definitely something to keep in mind if that...
Read moreI've always had amazing experiences at red lobster in the past in different locations. I came for a date night to this location and IMMEDIATELY regretted it. We walked in and for about 10 minutes the host was standing there talking to the other staff members laughing joking as we stood there, I said hello and they all glanced and went back to talking. After 10 minutes everyone walked away and the host turned around as if noticing us for the first time and said hey like we were old friends not waiting customers. We asked for a table table 2 which he started looking for and then walked away to have someone else continue to do it. We finally got seated after about 15 minutes in the worst section where it was facing the mall and it looked like the back of house section(the restaurant was empty maybe 5 tables at most I counted) and we sat there for another 15 minutes until WE stopped the server to ask for water. Another 15 minutes passed then we got water and out drink order was taken. Another 20 pass and we finally got our 2 drinks. So far about an hour in and all we've gotten is drinks. We stopped our server again to have our orders placed. And we waited about half an hour for our food. And we sat there eating our biscuits that once finished we never got more of even though it was supposed to be unlimited. Our food came, pasta was watery but tasty, shrimp was okay. All the friend shrimps we got were soggy and greasy and wet tasting we didn't eat them. All in all I was super disappointed in this restaurant and the service I received. We couldn't even order as much as we wanted due to the wait times and the restaurant closing. We had only 2 rounds. We were there for about 2.5 hours and all of it wad waiting. They were fully staffed and just had super slow staff. If I could ask for a refund I would cause I'll never go to this...
