There is nothing more real deal than the experience at Seb's iconic espresso bar. Italians from the neighborhood and beyond make this place a daily ritual. Mothers come here regularly with their children. Local business owners get their fix here. I for one have been coming here for years. The place is warm and inviting and large. The back is typically filled with the High energy chatter of tables of men playing various card games. The espresso is old school taste, and consistent. Seb brings in his own blend of beans. The treats are fresh and he often brings in sandwiches from Steve's meats from next door. Come for an espresso at the bar. A local friend introduced me to this unassuming place almost a decade ago and now I visit almost every day. Don't come here for trendy decor or for sweetened pseudo-coffee drinks in plastic cups - come instead for the best authentic espresso and cappuccino in Toronto at absolutely the best price. And super nice and down to earth staff and regulars. I spend 4 months a year in Rome; quality espresso is very important to my mental-well being and Seb's is a blessing in the neighborhood! Went there with a friend. Neither one of us are coffee drinkers. We just wanted to have a nice place to chat after meeting up in Toronto. It was an amazing place. We had tea.
