Highly recommended! Overall - Fantastic food and great service! You can really tell that they put a lot of effort and thought into their customers (i.e. putting wrap over the drinks to prevent spillage); taking extra care when making food.
When you first walk into the restaurant, you can already tell they've got amazing food because you can smell all the delicious herbs and spices that go into the food.
Tried several items on the menu, and definitely recommend the Hainanese chicken rice and the Pad Thai. The chicken was perfectly cooked and very tender and moist despite it being white meat. The rice also had a very good garlic fragrance. Pro tip: dip/pour the chicken soup over the chicken, it changes the flavour profile drastically.
The Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice were also very good imo. Both had a good amount of spice and fragrance.
Definitely recommend it to people who love South East...
Read morevisit: july 14 friday around 630pm i tried the bibimbap and the japchae (chapchae?) and id recommend the latter over the former. portioning is awesome but the bibimbap could use a bit more of something.. -I'm thinking beef, but it may be something else. i guess one could only expect so much if its in a take out container. bibimbap is a 3 for me, I've had worse.. also better. for its price, not bad i suppose. the chapchae is very good though, enough to share. and for some reason they give rice and kimchi for a side.. not the best kimchi but hey, it's free. a 4 out of 5 for chapchae. i would try this place again if I'm around. nice people running the shop. barely a place to eat, its for take out and pick up really. seating is a bar table facing the glass/outside and only for two pax. i dont think my friend enjoyed his donbokki or something, not sure what...
Read moreAn excellent, friendly, cozy Korean restaurant! They have a two high stools, window view place, for an original indoor dining, perfect for a couple, or two chummy buddies (the windowsill is affectionately decorated with a couple of very small, almost invisible, Simpson figurines - so we feelt like being in a warm, safe, homely environment)! The owners are nice, polite, work hard, fast, the dishes are magically tasty. We had a nice chat about Korean cooking, vermicelli, soy sauces, noodle recipes, Toronto Korean supermarkets, and Korean dramas running on Netflix: "Extraordinary Attorney Woo", "The King's Affection" and so. Thank you Sam and...
