Subway — Restaurant in Toronto

By now, I think most people are quite familiar with Subway and all the different types of sub sandwiches you can get. This Subway location is right near Coxwell Subway station, Coxwell and Danforth.

I see mixed reviews and as with most franchises, I think it depends on when you go, who's working that day, and all those other factors. Considering all that, on my visit, the staff were professional and I received my subs in good order. Toppings were running low when I got there but staff had no issues getting more ingredients when I inquired. Featured in the images are the Canadian club and Italian BMT. As you can probably tell, we like a lot of vegetables on our subs!

For anyone who has never been to a Subway before, you can choose the sub sandwich you want, choose the type of bread you want, and add vegetable toppings and sauces to really customize the sub sandwich to your liking. Subway also has rice bowls, wraps, and cookies as well. Not gonna lie, their cookies are pretty phenomenal (though not featured here). Some of their newer toppings are fun - try the fried onions. They add a nice crunch to the sub.

This comment is for Subway in general and has no bearing on this particular location. One thing I get annoyed by is the way the Subway menu is now featuring certain sub sandwiches. Some of their classics like the Italian BMT are really buried on the menu.

Overall, if you're looking for a quick food fix, you can try give this Subway...

Ordered 2 subs through the app when i arrived i get told someone else took my food and they just allowed it when the girl that was working tonight was remaking my subs i asked her multiple times can u follow the receipt it says more for everything topping please and she ignored me finally when i saying even louder shes like sir i cant put more or the bread wont close her hands are the size of a childs and only put a half of a single handful of the toppings each there was plenty of room considering any other location has no problem doing this then she gets an attitude i tell her im going to record this interaction with her attitude and how she is making my sub and she threatens to call the cops on me for asking her to make my food correctly and to stop giving me the customer attitude i will not ever go to this location everytime i go here its nothing but attitude from the workers when u want ur food a certain way its disrespectful as i told the manager today i will be contacting head office about this i hope they send someone to train these employees in customer service and satisfaction and learn they cant give attitude or rudely slap my food together still didnt even get all the toppings i wanted or sauces on the 2 subs all because of her ignorance if the manager sees i hope u...

Stopped by Subway late at night and was genuinely impressed by the level of service I received. The young woman working the counter that evening brought a sense of calm and professionalism that you rarely find during night shifts. She greeted me with a warm smile and handled my order with precision and care. Every step—right from prepping the bread to adding the final topping—was done with attention and confidence. It was clear she took pride in her work and wasn’t just rushing through the motions.

What stood out the most was how she double-checked everything before handing it over, making sure the food met a high standard. You could tell she truly cared about customer satisfaction and wanted me to leave happy. She even asked if I wanted anything extra or if the sandwich was made exactly how I liked it.

Her presence made the whole experience feel more personal and inviting, especially at a time when most people are tired and just getting through their shift. If more staff were like her, customer service everywhere would be on a different level. I’ll definitely be back again, thanks to her top-notch...
