Subway — Restaurant in Toronto

1️⃣ I placed a Gluten Free sub, they had to get a frozen one as there were no fresh ones in the fridge. This is a 24 hours subway yet no consideration. If you use a Gluten Free sub, you should replace one in the fridge, so that there is always gluten free bread available for your customers!

2️⃣ I'm allergic to gluten and the sandwich artist wanted to use the same gloves that he touched wheat bread to make my sub; I had to tell him I am allergic to gluten. The sandwich artist did not coordinate with his colleague regarding my dietary issues and his colleague approached to complete my sub until I told her I'm allergic to gluten.

3️⃣ There were 4 tables in this Subway, and all of them were disgusting, none of them had been cleaned all day! I was eating and no customers were at the store yet the staff stood there talking to each other instead of cleaning the tables.

Definitely not coming back here again.

I used to rate this location at Shoppers World Victoria Park and Danforth higher. That said, the customer restrooms have been closed "for repairs " since covid and only reopened recently.

Worse, I went there yesterday and ordered the same sub I get, EVERY TIME. I normally pay just over $15 including tax for a Great Canadian Club. The manager there, a surly man who seems to have his workers in fear, charged me $18.75 for the same sub that costs me 15 and change at every other Subway I've gone to, and I eat at least 4 subs per week, so I KNOW. I asked him why it was so much compared to EVERY OTHER SUBWAY and the guy actually walked away after mumbling something I couldn't understand. The price was the same on the menu there as every other one, $13.79 or.59, I'm not 100% there. Never a good experience with this location; especially when the Indian, middle-aged woman is working. She doesn’t care to fulfill customers orders accurately unless you offer a 5-star google rating and/or order food in person at the store. My food is never made properly; and items are always missing and/or incorrect altogether. I have sent friends, partner, etc to get food from this location before and every time we have a bad experience, we note that it’s the same lady preparing our orders every time. Her attitude is very unwelcoming and careless and this unfortunately translates into whatever food she is making.
