My wife and I brought our daughter to Kensington market for our taco adventure. We started our adventure here and it did not disappoint. We tried a taco Al pastor, a chicken taco, and a Birria taco and they were all amazing packed with meat and the taco fillings. They were very generous with their taco meat and other toppings. Coming to Tacos 101 was the highlight of our taco adventure. The gentleman preparing the tacos was very friendly and recommended the Al pastor and Birria tacos. I also noticed some Mexican local snacks nearby where you place your order. There is a seating area. Not only did the gentleman recommend the Birria tacos but in addition he did mention that they specialize in the Birria taco, surely enough it was the best taco I had during my entire Kensington market taco tour. I’m definitely coming back here on my next visit to the Kensington area! I highly recommend you come here and...

My favourite pastor in the city, and one of the few that actually knows how to cook pastor. It is a very small taqueria but I really recommend to go and try it, their tacos and other Mexican street food is very good. The esquites are the best of the best in the city, only place that has authentic white corn and is prepared like in Mexico. I also recommend the mangonada during summer, very refreshing but can be a bit bland, needs to improve the taste. I just think that they have to improve their tamales, are very small with little taste and filling, for the price I won’t get them again. Other than that, very affordable and delicious...

Been to this taco joint when it was on dundas at church. Now they moved to Kensington market. First time here at the new location, came during covid 19 but during stage 3 so dine in was allowed. Authentic delicious tacos. Menu is pretty small but still good. Not much dining room inside, only about 6 stools. No a/c inside so super hot! I have to mention though giy making food totally forgot our nachos and gauc so make sure you check your food and bill. Overall probably will come back but during cooler months so it won't be so extremely hot inside. I also do recommend to those who enjoy authentic...

I just had the best fish tacos ever! In Kensington Market, Toronto, sits Tacos 101, a 8ft wide but very deep Mexican restaraunt. There are only a few stools at a narrow bar along the wall, to sit and eat, but the decorations and atmosphere make it a unique place to eat. As you can see from the menu board there aren’t a lot of choices, but the two gentlemen at the grill, behind the counter, are friendly and helpful. and the food…..incredible flavour at a reasonable price! Try them out, you won’t regret it.
