I’m writing to express my disappointing experience during my recent visit to this location. I’m somewhat a regular customer who typically enjoys the chicken wraps and usually does not order a drink. However, due to the warm weather, I decided to include an iced tea with my usual order. After placing my order, I was told by the staff member who assisted me that it would be ready in about 6–7 minutes. I waited outside and returned around the suggested time. Upon receiving my bag, I checked to confirm the wrap and sauce were included, as that’s my usual order (all this was done in store). Unfortunately, I didn’t remember at the time that I had added a drink, so I did not notice its absence right away. Roughly ten minutes after leaving the store, I realized the drink was missing. I called the store to let them know about the issue and asked if I could pick up the drink the next time I visit. I was taken aback when the manager responded with hostility and immediately accused me of lying. He said repeatedly in a raised voice:
“You could come back tomorrow, and you still won't get your drink.”
“You're going to keep lying and do this over and over again.”
“I packed it myself.”
I calmly tried to explain that my intention was not to deceive anyone, and that it wouldn’t make sense for me to go out of my way (over 20 minutes each way) just to retrieve a $3 drink, let alone do so repeatedly. I asked If they could remember me for the next time I place an order, that would be great (I go maybe 3 times a month). To be very honest, If I didn't plan to go back in a timely manner (next week or so) to retrieve the drink and they simply forgot over time and decided not to give me the drink by then, that would not be much of an issue for me, as at least they acknowledge they forgot to give me my drink. I also pointed out that, given that both he and another staff member were preparing orders at the time, it’s very possible my drink was mistakenly placed in another customer’s bag. Unfortunately, the manager stood by his accusations, refused to review any footage, and continued raising his voice. What’s most upsetting is not the missing drink, but the way I was treated, especially as a returning customer. Being shouted at, accused of lying, and denied even the basic courtesy of being heard is extremely unprofessional (he hung up the phone mid-conversation). Regardless of whether or not I should have noticed the drink was missing before leaving, the way the situation was handled was entirely inappropriate. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and, quite honestly, has changed my decision to continue supporting this location. I hope this feedback is valuable, and that steps are taken to ensure better treatment of customers in the future, especially over something as minor and easily resolved as a...
Read moreFor a growing franchise trying to establish itself with players on the game for 5 decades and more, you would expect the same gameplan among all the locations: standardised menu, standardised level of service and standardised food quality. Maybe, because I dress poorly (tee-shirt and jeans), staff thought I wasn't worth their time by or effort. But, I earn enough and spend more than the average person eating out. This would be a dangerous and bad assumption about me, based on my appearances. Anyways, instead of a warm welcome to the restaurant and an offer to help order, staff chose to talk amongst themselves and ignore me. After about 2 minutes, I came to the reasonable deduction that I was not welcome. Not, was my business. I left and returned home, deciding to order pizza instead. My friend who was visiting said he didn't want pizza, because he just had it the day before. So, he came back and ordered for us. The food was okay. Not bad. Nothing special. He said the staff were still talking among themselves but he coughed and cleared his throat and they broke up and took his order. Long story short, for the price point, the entire experience was okay. Would it be my first choice next time? Definitely not. Would I still include them in my circle of food choices? Sure. I would recommend management tighten their reign and get service up to par with the big boys. The food alone at their current price points is not good enough to pull in regular and loyal customers. If everything was a lot cheaper, one would not expect or care about service. But, the business model has design and pricing at the same level as the places that also care about customer service. So, it is expected. Anyways, to each his own. There are no shortages of locations for this brand. So, my opinion may be of no...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Tahinis, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. I decided to try a variety of wraps to get a full taste of what Tahinis has to offer, and I was not disappointed.
First up was the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The blend of spices and fresh ingredients made each bite a delight. It was a classic choice that truly showcased the expertise of the chefs at Tahinis.
Next, I tried the Jamaican Jerk Shawarma Wrap. This wrap was a fantastic surprise with its bold and vibrant flavors. The jerk seasoning added a wonderful kick, and the combination of spices created a mouthwatering experience. It was a unique twist on traditional shawarma that I absolutely loved.
Lastly, I enjoyed the Butter Chicken Shawarma Wrap. This wrap was rich and savory, with tender chicken pieces enveloped in a creamy butter chicken sauce. The flavors were well-balanced, making it a decadent and satisfying choice. This one was my favorite of the three!
The service at Tahinis was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and made sure my order was prepared perfectly.
In conclusion, Tahinis exceeded my expectations. The Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Jamaican Jerk Shawarma Wrap, and Butter Chicken Shawarma Wrap were all flavorful and delicious. I'll definitely be back to enjoy more of their...
