The J Arthur — Restaurant in Toronto

We came here on a Wednesday night as we had just moved into the neighbourhood. It was really busy the night we went so unfortunately the service was a bit slow. That being said, it was very friendly and they kept apologizing because it isn't usually that busy.

The menu looked great. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I settled on the lamb burger. It was really tasty. I love that they have daily specials to change it up as well.

I look forward to coming back here. It has a great dive bar atmosphere where you can sit at the bar, a table or on the patio. Looking forward to many more...

The J Arthur goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy! They have one high chair, and I've gone with my two kids twice. They are so accommodating and tolerant of tiny ones. The food is really really good! Think pub food, but with attention to detail. The triple cooked fries... Omg. The wings were delicious as were the corn dogs. Great unpretentious Ontario craft beer and seltzer bar. Really fun vibe with video and arcade games and unusual vids on the screens, funny posters all over the place. Food is great, most stuff made from scratch in house. Lots of upscaled hot dogs and even several game meat options. Plenty of vegan options too, so people who eat food's food will not go hungry.
