I went to this location as I often do on my way up to my office for work. I decided to try the Maple Bacon BLT bagel on an Everything bagel. I took the combo with a hashbrown, a Raisin Bran muffin and a London Fog. I received my order. Everything was great until I got to my office to drink my London Fog tea and it was not full (see attached photos). I was quite upset because I always get a good size amount of tea especially for London Fog from other Tim's locations with no issue. I felt cheated. I am a tea collector and love a variety of teas from around the world and for a huge organization like Tim Hortons to not train their staff to pour the accurate amount of tea for a customer order is beyond not satisfying. I felt slighted. I am from Hamilton, Ontario where the original Tim Hortons first opened not to far down the street from my Grandmother's old house off Cannon and Ottawa Street in Hamilton area. I feel the company does not regard the faithful Canadian customers that have supported this organization from its inception by Tim Horton and Jim Charade in 1964. As a born and raised Hamiltonian who has loved Tim Hortons as a child to adulthood and with a sense of pride as being a Canadian from the city where the franchise was started, what I experienced today made me feel very sad. I just feel like franchise owners of Tim Hortons site do not value their customers nowadays. If I go home to visit family in Hamilton, guaranteed I visit one of the many Timmies in the city to talk, have a coffee with treats and we always feel at home at our Tim's shop. Here in Toronto, it's like no one cares, get in, get out attitude with poor customer service is to be tolerated. As a person who reviews restaurants and other shops for Google, I think this was my worst experience to date. Please do not conflate my notes as I have worked in the food industry here in Ontario before and have worked in Customer Service work for over 20 years now but this took the cake. All I can say is wow....wow đtruly...
Read moreBacon Farmer Wrap is: bacon, hash brown, cheese, egg and chipotle sauce inside a wrap. Itâs 5.59$. If you ask for the egg to be removed, itâs 4.49$. They then recharge you for the cheese 0.80$. You never asked for the cheese to be removed. You never asked for extra cheese.
âTheyâ say âthe systemâ classifies this request as âno dairyâ and removes both the egg and the cheese automatically and then they re-charge you for cheese as if youâre adding on extra. Egg is not a dairy product, itâs a poultry product.
They said if you want to put an a la carte egg, that is 2.00$/egg.
So basically the above wrap, no egg is 5.29$. Just structure it like so vs. Removing multiple items together and recharging customers for items they would have normally received.
This is terrible service. Terrible math. Yes in favour of the house. Leaves customers with the experience of being scammed by dishonest staff who relies on customers to mot do the math.
Gives off financial discrimination for those who do not eat certain items for health, religious and/or culture reasons. This is not a âbuild-your-ownâ activity.
@Headoffice, this one location manager explicitly stated she does not convey any customer feedback about this location to head office. Says she has nothing to do with what head office does, dismisses customers questions, and makes them distrust other staff - that they are tampering with food when you ask the...
Read moreI ordered the new wedges from this tim hortens and I watched the employee hand pick every single potato wedge and when I asked for a little extra because the portion was small she added 3 on top which I ate and were fresh. The rest were old and stale!! She hand picked all the stale ones that she should have thrown out and sold them to me. The food at this tim Hortons always disappoints. I've given them chance after chance because I live in the area, but it's sad that my neighborhood tim Hortons is just awful in every way especially the service.
In response to the automated message that was sent to me: No, thank you! I have no interest in contacting your customer service to waste my time just to replace an order of wedges when nothing has changed in the restaurant. -Get rid of the garbage employees with no work ethic. -CLEAN THE WHOLE PLACE UP! IT'S FILTHY! UNHYGIENIC! Where are the health inspectors?
I'm not eating there ever again until I see a change in staff and...
