Truly a treat. This place must be protected at all costs!!! It's selection is so incredibly wide, that they even had a Magnavox Odyssey still in box! The place is almost like a museum with the things you'll find there, and the fact that it's a stand-alone store is even more crazy. Seeing that some reviews stated the selection is mediocre burns a hole through my head. Anyone who knows video game history would be delighted to see the Neo Geo and Atari products. For a buisness that's lasted Covids wrath, the fact the place is still standing where it is, speaks for itself. For a lot of their rarer items, the prices are reasonable, and again, to last after Covid, their prices are also great! You wont find a single reproduction game, and everything is usually in amazing condition. It's warming to know that what youll be buying will be official here, whereas online, it can be more deceiving. Most importantly the lady who works there, Sandra, is extremely welcoming. She's knowledgeable about her products, and is always willing to help! She's kind, and a joy to talk with. She knows her stuff. The prices on the green stickers are the updated ones, and the ones with the orange ones are older. Sandra will often do a price check on anything you are interested in if the price isn't updated, which is always nice. This store is also one of the only stores I know that does no tax on a purchase, if you pay in cash! In the front of the store, the very moment you walk in, you'll be greeted to a Sega Dreamcast in a display, which is wild. If you were to walk to the left side after walking in, you'll see the stores personal collection. Those are usually the rarer items, and aren't for sale. But anyone who knows games will appreciate what is there to see. Overall, this place is a great spot to see some things you might not ever find in person otherwise as well as a nice retro stop. 100% recommend stopping by.

I had some games that I did not think would be sellable. I usually go to ANC games in Toronto because it is basically the standard to us citizens. Walking down Dundas, I stumbled across the store that’s been here for 25 years that I did not know he was here for 25 years, Stupid me. I walked in, and I was automatically attended to buy a lovely associate named What’s your name Sandra. I told her my situation and my scepticism about the system and games that I had. The information in the knowledge that this wonderful woman had about Video gaming, The patients and the willing to help her customers really made me feel confident. The selection in the store is astounding. There are games that I didn’t even think I’d ever seen in my life., The store is very clean and organized. You can literally find anything you’re looking for in a second. I love A and c games but when you go there , They kind of just treat you like another customer. At this place Sandra made me feel Like we were at a gaming convention, and we were all there for the same reason. I do recommend this place and I will be coming here much more often, especially with the massive selection they have for all systems and all games both new and old. Give it a check if you’re ever in the area and call all your friends about it like I did

Despicable!! My boyfriend bought a copy of Virtua fighter 2 for Sega Saturn yesterday. The red sticker price was $79.99, then she said the game was actually way more then that and put 2 green stickers on for $199.99. Then she said she'll give us a "deal" and give it to him for 150 bucks. . The game doesn't even work and he is already fed up with the store. Very shady business over there. He is so disappointed he doesn't even want to go back to exchange it. This place is the worst. Sandra is greedy and very dishonest. . we came all the way up from Niagara Falls just to buy garbage.. really expensive garbage. Cd is horribly buffed to heck with the worst wave Marks on it. So disappointed to say the least. This is all an understatement because she already somehow deleted or reported his review off of here. Don't go to that store unless you really know your stuff, because Sandra will take advantage of you if you're vulnerable. Un friggin believable. He spend 150 dollars essentially just for a game case.

I've read quite the few reviews on this store before deciding to check it out. I was still willing to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Truthfully, this store has a lot of retro video games, bordering on museum aesthetic when looking at the breadth of video games they have. That much is quite impressive. I understand that any given store's item price mark-up is typically (now a days) calculated to account for a lot, it's a business after all. Yet usually businesses have to rely on some sort of semi-regular or returning customer base to stay afloat, so colour me extremely surprised when I see mark-up prices exceeding way more than double most game's worth. One game in particular I saw that they had, had the 'orange sticker' which was priced, as far as I knew, fairly. After the compulsory check with whomever does their 'pricing' the game's price shot up $35 dollars; to which I kindly said thank you, then walked further from the counter to look elsewhere in the store. Whilst looking through the store, I viewed on the internet the market value of the game -- which is to say, not what a single person on the internet asks for a game, but what it actually sells for and the aggregate value from those sold listings -- and their orange sticker was actually floating within the current market value, originally. The funny thing is, the entire time that I was in the store afterward, the woman kept the game on the counter, as though the expectation were there that I would still buy it. And it remained there up until I left. This is where I see what other reviews left claiming the feeling where they pump up the price for a game hoping to get a sucker in to buy a game for double (or more) of a game's worth. I didn't want to believe it until my time there confirmed it.

I don't know how many people Xtreme Games Interactive has buying into their game of preying on those ignorant of game prices in order to keep in business; especially since most people have internet connected devices on them at all times, but it has...

Visited this store looking for a specific game and got into a conversation with one of the owners where she talked about stalkers leaving negative reviews to harm her business which fair that sounds terrible so I empathized, but after reading the reviews most of them say how the owner would suddenly jack up the price of a game changing the price right in front of them citing "retail covid problems" for some of the price jumps. This is almost exactly is the same experience I had, where after I asked about the game I was looking for she took the 29.99 sticker off of it right in front of me, and made some call then changing the price to NEARLY TRIPLE THE PRICE AT 84.99. She claims this is because it was a factory sealed copy, when I know for a fact the game goes for at most 30-40 dollars online brand new. Absolutely appauling and unethical to try and pull a fast one like that on customers assuming they don't know any better, genuinely confused why she would run her business like this because they have a really good selection but they are scamming and intentionally misleading people with these prices. I will say my partner was able to get a few disney gameboy games for a reasonable price, but even those cheap games were more expensive than what you would find online or in any other store. Really disappointed by how they choose to run this pretty great shop it would be much better if they weren't so dishonest. P.S. I went to Game Mania near High park and instantly found the game I was looking for a quarter of the price. There are many better video game shops than this I suggest going to...
