Everything is great. I love this place and every other foods are great except ONE thing. Simply the custard in the Boston Cream always tastes like a gasoline.
I've also worked as a nightshift baker at Tim Hortons years ago, and I know why this happens: especially around the early summer, when the temperature for custard is messed up even for once - and if staffs don't keep this custard container clean weekly or monthly - the custard will go wrong, and none of those staffs would notice it before they try to taste it.
I mean, they really need to replace the custard to a complete new one at some point, but I don't think they do that.
Because I live 3 minutes walk away from this location for the past 6 years, and for the first 4 years, it was ok. The boston cream tasted perfectly fine. But then since 2023, the custard started to taste like a gasoline, and I even told the staffs how to fix it - mentioning that I also worked as a baker at Tim Hortons, and if they continue to sell Boston Creams like this, without replacing it, every buyers would think "Hm, this boston cream tastes a bit weird".
The thing is, I've been keep coming to this Tim Hortons at this location at least monthly, and tried out one or two boston creams , because that's the only thing that I actually order from Tim Hortons - but for the past 2 years, it never changed.
I don't think they really care about this one small thing, because it doesn't really affect much about their reputation. That's why I came here to write a review to give a little heads up.
I love this place, and the staffs are great. I loved other donuts, muffins, or even breakfast meals.
However, above all, I love Boston Cream so much (even though I'm trying to lower the sugar these days) and I still miss that Boston Cream without gasoline taste of custard.
Every time I came to buy Boston Cream at this location for the past 2 years, it's been the same, and I'm so mad that it never changed even for once, even though I've been telling them for many times how to fix this right.
This is ridiculous.
Realistically, if you're not going to replace the custard and keep the temperature right, just don't put the custard inside. I would rather have a boston cream...

It is third time when i had survey coupon i did survey and when i give coupon to him to apply on my bill firstly he denied and then he told me this is the only time i am accepting this coupon because you're showing me survey code on mobile you have to write it on receipt when i asked him for pen he denied very rudely , This is not first time this is third time,
Moreover yesterday (12th December 2024)in the morning at 7.30 am i also went there , that time a guy wearing black turban with a girl was on duty he didn't accept my coupon , He had pen with him i saw that , because of that behavior i had to pay full amount for my order,
I also go different tim hortons and usually those guys are always supportive but this tim horton branch at don mills and Sheppard intersection i don't know why this guys have so much ego and don't know how to treat customers,
Before opening the store they should train there staff first,
I am not taking any step today but your rude behavior can spoil whole day of someone while you're serving morning coffee to them ,
Look other reviews as well on google i am not the one who is making this complaint,
Who is responsible for this rude behavior whole tim hortons company or this branch ? Senior authorities should come forward to take...

All these days I had been avoiding a negative post, but finally my patience runs out after they add more cream than asked for, most of the servers are just rushing to close orders (irony-they are still late on almost all my orders). Tims remains the best but service at this franchise is awful (being very gentle).
07/16 - And they do it yet again!! Ordered 1 cream/ 2 sugar, given 2 cream/ 1 sugar (pics attached). My bad I trust these useless servers, for others, better check your order before stepping out. Downgrading to 2 (full faith that soon I’ll be downgrading to 1). Good luck.
10/14 - and they live up to my faith!! Franchise owner must have hired them at half the wage, these people are not fit to even clean the coffee place let alone make/serve coffee. I wish they had closed instead of 2500 don mills location. (Unfortunately my wife picked up and didn’t check the order).
12/31 - oh i so wish this place either gets its staff replaced or just closes down, the present set of servers can’t even prepare a simple coffee but carry the attitude as if they founded tim hortons, really horrible. They are not worth any stars should rather have some 🤮 emoji to rate such locations. 08/28/25 - it seems there’s been a change in ownership and staff and I have to admit there’s been a remarkable and visible shift in service.
