Togo Cafe — Restaurant in Toronto

Newly opened takeout cafe with a grand opening BOGO offer, so we decided to give it a try! (BOGO should be over by the time of this posting)

Items: Iced Pineapple Americano, Iced Peach Oolong Lemon Tea (Forgot to take photos, sorry!)

Iced Pineapple Americano (9/10) - Definitely one of the best fruit flavoured Americanos we've had! The consistency of their espresso shots seemed consistent and well dialed in. Sweetness was perfect for our preference, and pineapple flavour was quite noticeable on the first sip. It came with some pineapple pulp too, yummy!

Iced Peach Oolong Lemon Tea (4/10) - Could've been partly our fault for assuming it was going to be similar to fruit teas found at other bubble tea establishments. Instead, what we got was a drink made with 1/2 a lemon, 1 full lime and some mint leaves. While we do prefer a low sugar diet, this drink came with no warning about it being keto friendly. Our faces puckered with every sip. If you haven't been taking your vitamin C supplements, this is your go to! Jokes aside it would've been nice if we were told it came without sugar (unless that was a mistake or we misheard something).

** Honestly, we love the care they put into each drink, the ingredients they used looked fresh. Large sized drinks were very very reasonable even without the BOGO offer ($4.99-$5.99). I would be happy to give it another shot to try other interesting drinks I don't...

Those who are still reading, thank you for believing me because as a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast you know that I won’t suggest you a coffee unless I approve it && this doesn’t only get my approval but safe to say this is my go-to drink of choice. Like honestly speaking, who would have thought that Americano will go so well with grape juice & bubbly? We also tried their Signature To-Go Iced Latte & honestly, I don’t even know how they managed to make it better than a regular iced latte. Let me just say, if you try their Signature To-Go Iced Latte there is NO GOING BACK. No wonder it’s their bestseller! The coffee slapped! && I think we need a moment for that chunky biscoff macaron. The size was massive! & the filling was so creamy and even had a biscoff biscuit for the extra crunch. New Hawthorn Lemon Tea: The sour taste of hawthorn and the fragrance of lemon are intertwined, and it is very refreshing after taking a sip, which is very suitable for relieving greasiness. Persimmon Coconut Latte: Made with raw coconut milk, paired with the sweetness of persimmon, it has a very smooth taste, no bitterness at all, and tastes like the taste of autumn. Persimmon Lemon Tea: Also a persimmon series, this persimmon lemon tea combines the aroma of persimmon and lemon just right, sour and sweet, especially appetizing.
