Really enjoyed our dinner here! We noticed the cute spot on our way to a show at The Owls Club down the road. We walked back afterwords and I'm happy we did! Great Italian menu with vegetarian options. We started with the fresh bread and Arancini, the tomato sauce brought life to my tastebuds and the cheese to rice mix in the Arancini was spot on. For the main I had the Creamy Gorgonzola Gnocchi followed by the Tiramisu for dessert. We each had a drink and I capped dinner off with an Americano. The Gnocchi was flavourful and made my tounge tingle with delight, it totally hit the spot. All in all, we just showed up on a Friday without reservations and only had to wait about 15 min for a booth for 2 of us. The atmosphere was intimate and cute and the waiter was amazing! Very kind, full of smiles and friendly. We couldn't finish our mains and took the rest home. I appreciated that he boxed them up for us instead of dropping off the containers for us to fill ourselves. It was a busy time and the staff was working hard but ensuring everyone was well attended to. We both truly felt appreciated as customers. I travel Canada for work and dine out alot, so I've seen it all and this place really impressed me! As a Torontonian I am happy we found such an awesome spot in our city, it's located in a quaint and quiet neighbourhood. Although we live on the East side we will be back for sure!!!

It is a place I have been to recently. There is a pretty busy restaurant with a small amount of room; however, it's quite nice to renew or gather . the menu it is mostly a pasta and pizza joint, because it is an Italian restaurant, but they do have a variety of different types of pasta pizzas that I found some of them a bit pricey, but the cocktail is really good, and they serve good wine as well. There is no doubt that if you have a chance to go there I would definitely recommend to get a cocktail as well with your meal if you are able to do so. The taste is just stronger than ever. The servers were pretty professional in their manner. It was my first time going without a reservation. I have to say that the restaurant was packed, but they still provided me with a nice table even though it was full. Overall, I would rate it seven out of ten.

We had an amazing experience here last night. The pasta was outstanding, perfectly cooked with so much flavor. I had the Spicy Rigatoni which I loved because it was tomato based with the right amount of spice and crispy guanciale that made every bite perfect. My partner ordered the Carbonara Calabrese, a spicy take on the classic carbonara that was fun to try and very delicious. The highlight of the night was the Tiramisu, light and heavenly, easily the best I have had in the city. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the service was warm and welcoming, and it truly felt like being a guest at someone’s home. We will definitely be back.

Really wanted to like this place as it is local within walking distance and we love some other spots along Dovercourt. Unfortunately it was a disappointing night start to finish. The service didn’t feel personal many different servers stopped by at random points without anyone introducing themselves and talking to us. When we walked in we waited by the front for a bit before someone poked their head out and came up to the front we inquired about the tiramisu but unfortunately it was sold out (no fault to the restaurant we understand things sell out) We put in our order for dinner and an appetizer anyways since we were excited for the food. Our arancini was brought out and although it felt freshly fried it lacked flavour and the sauce tasted like it had just come out of a jar. We didn’t get asked how our food was until it was time to clear the plates. When our mains came out the chicken parm had a pasta with it despite ordering a salad to go along side from the two options. When the plate was returned with the salad it was clear the sauce that was on the other plate had just been scooped onto the chicken parm and the salad was just put onto the plate with a shocking lack of toppings or sauce. The portions felt small and nothing truly felt fresh. The other dish we had was the spaghetti with the meatballs. The meatballs were okay and spaghetti was cooked well but once again everything didn’t feel fresh. The service was few and far between and felt like we were being passed by more than we actually talked to anyone. When it came time for the bill we were offered dessert but at that point we just wanted the bill and to leave. Unfortunately there are just too many far superior options in the area and friendlier service that we don’t think we will come back and can’t in good faith recommend others to try...

I make an effort to support local community businesses. I was in the area visiting family and noticed the restaurant, looked good, so I thought I'd go in and ask if they had a table for 4. I waited patiently at the door. The servers keep walking past me serving customers and don't say anything. I ask the server that I spoke to if there was any update, she told me the other server was working on it. I continue to wait. Now 15 min have gone by and I ask the other server what's going on, are we going to be seated? She tells me that another person is trying to fit me in. I'm getting frustrated, my wife is upset and asking me why am I still here? they obviously don't want our business. After 20 min the 3rd server comes over and asks "how can I help you" I look at her and tell her "you must be kidding" I'd spoken to 2 other servers. I tell her I need a table for 4. She looks at her tablet and says sorry, we don't have any availability for another hour. I look at her and say "you've got to be kidding"! After standing there for 25 min waiting for the incompetent hostess to tell me there is no availability while I look around and half the tables have been empty the whole time I was waiting. Will not be returning, too many other good options...
