Stores like this are the reason to shop locally. Great selection, fairly priced, consistently high quality and the friendliest staff. Many years ago they accidentally (and unknowingly to me) overcharged me a few dollars, the next time I came in they had a copy of the receipt pinned up by the till, recognised me, let me know their mistake and credited me the difference there and then. I have been going here for three years since moving into the neighbourhood. This morning they sold us rotten milk which we discovered after walking home. When we tried to return it they claimed the milk wasn't theirs and implied we had swapped the milk out after leaving (?!?). My go-to place in the neighbourhood! Bloorcourt Village Market has the best produce, especially avocados. They have a great selection of other groceries as well, including organic / dairy-free / and gluten-free products. Prices can be a bit higher than some other stores nearby, but you are paying for the quality so it is totally worth it. The owners are always very nice...
