This is a speakeasy, something I had never gone to, and in the past had only heard of in passing whispered rumors. Needless to say, I was intrigued. I was there for a friends birthday, and I had a great time. If you have never been, then I won't ruin the suprise as to how you get inside. Just be sure to look for the glowing red crosses upon arrival, as that is the only indicator ( along with the inevitable, short, line that forms beneath it and faint writing on the door) of where this place is. Once you're in (yes there is coatcheck if you need it) you go straight to the dance floor, or if you preffer, to the bar. They make designer cocktails (and rrgular cocktails and wine and beer and shots, etc) that are both cute and delicious. If I'm being honest the drinks cost a lil more then I would like to pay for a fancy cocktail, prices ranging upwards from $12, but they are delicious...and it is a speakeasy...and apparently thats a normal price range for a drink at this type of establishment. 🤷🏿‍♂️ After you procure your libation you can try going to the dance floor, although its probably best you don't since you probably don't want your drink all over the floor, as the dance floor can get very crowded, lots and lots of fun, but not a safe place for filled to the brim beverages. Instead, wander over to a high table and enjoy your drink in peace. Better yet, if you know you are going to be showing up with lots of people, much like the birthday party I attended, you can arrange to have a super cozy and comfy booth. Best part of the booth, is it has a much more appropriate sized table to accomodate the best part about this place...which is...of course...the artisan pizza that they make fresh in house to order. Yes they also sell pizza. In fact...thats the only food they sell. Why? Because they're smart. That said...I am going to have to go back and actually taste it (I am on a diet at the moment and couldn't have the carbs and fat and the calories *le sigh*😓) and leave a detailed review of my experience. Till then, I hope this review encourages you to check it out.

Great little place on Gerry East. Andy you did good ! 👍🏻 Music was great, lots of talented musicians working hard to entertain. They have done a great job selecting some old, new and classic songs to go along with your experience. Impressive decor, the name says it all but this place makes you feel that vibe the moment you walk inside. Service was phenomenal, attentive, friendly, helpful, and most of all genuine ! Now the food…. is by far the most delicious Pizza in Toronto ! Theres an option for everyone, great use of flavourful ingredients that fuse together for the perfect taste. Depending what you get, we love the Fun Guy ( the brie really adds a kick ), miele picante ( honey 🍯 with all the fancy salamis) and their goat cheese 🍕) ! Perfect temperature, sweet, savoury, salty and spicy. Their crust is definitely brushed with the perfect amount of Olive oil to crisp those edges up good. Recommend for a fun, tasty and memorable time !

Went here on a date on Friday night around 9 p.m. and it wasn't too busy yet. We were able to sit ourselves at a booth and order pizza and drinks. The Margherita pizza was good for $18 and drink selection was good (beers are about $10 and cocktails $17). Also ordered a tiramisu ($9) which was good. One thing, that I want to point out we asked for garlic dip for the pizza and found out at the end they charged $3 for a small amount (just a warning, as I don't think it was worth it for $3). The place gets busier and packed at night as it turns into a club, dance floor vibe which is cool. At the end of the night you can grab slices of pizza for $5 beside coat-check which is really nice. Overall would come back for night out and to try their other pizzas.

We were a party of 12, celebrating incredible friendships and it was our first time at the The Vatican Gift Shop. It was a Saturday night and our server for that evening was Alex, she was out of this world. She took care of us the whole night, followed by her was the one and only J, who made our first time experience that much more fun & memorable. Now let’s take a minute and talk about the food, It was absolutely mouthwatering and so flavourful, so good I had to meet the master behind the dishes. Shane is his name. I appreciate good food when I taste it and give compliments when needed, Our food selection was perfect for our group.. from the charcuterie spread, too bruschetta’s and not to mention those delicious Arachini (rice balls) man were they ever so GOOD and done perfect..👌🏻which by far are the absolute BEST I’ve ever tried in the CITY!! Shane you killed it👏🏻👏🏻followed by that we had some oh so tasty pizza’s. I am honestly blown away. For our group, the amount we ate, drank and the price we payed was very reasonable. The ambience was perfect, the crowd was great and we ended our night dancing away with music played by an incredible DJ. What a great night! I’d definitely recommend this place… 🙌🏻 You All were...

Great place. Had a good time this Valentine's Day with my man, we went to my good friend Anthony's karaoke he hosts their every Wednesday night. My man won 100 dollars that night and bought everyone a round of our fave shots (silcilian kisses, half amaretto, half soco). Karaoke was killer, my girl lady Vee was in attendance with her beautiful voice and a real stunner was there that night, I believe her name was Stacey... she had incredible pipes. I sang a song by Duffy to my man I've never sang in my life (at karaoke) and everyone seemed to like it but then I did my usual zombie by the cranberries and that was the real crowd pleaser. The bartender was a really professional but also very personable girl who treated us with sincerity and respect, my bf did a jt song he's never done and threw a little comedy in there as well (he's a comedian by nature and former career) and overall it was the best Valentine's I've had in at least 4 years if not more. P.S. we didn't have food so I can't judge that aspect but if it's anything like the service and atmosphere it is delicious 😋 Thanks for a great night out Vatican! And special shout out to DJDC Anthony love...
