Dodam Korean BBQ and Japanese Sushi — Restaurant in Town of Hinton

Visiting the Jasper/Hinton area recently; decided to stay in Hinton this time as we were uncertain as to the situation in Jasper. Liked the sound of this Asian fusion restaurant - it did NOT disappoint! WOW! First night we explored Korean cuisine...something we had little prior experience of. THAT'S GOING TO CHANGE! WAAH!! Both our entrees arrived quickly; beautiful presentation (I'm drooling as I write this!) with perfectly balanced flavours & perfectly cooked (=crispy but not underdone) veg & meat and a sauce that was complex.. Ordered a bunch of sushi from K&L Sushi About $100 in food. The whole family got sick and kids puking at school the next day. It was the only same thing we ate. We had called to speak to a manager. Someone very unprofessional answered and said they would get the manager to call us back. Five minutes later this very same person called back and said the manager was unable to speak to us. We were explaining to her how sick we got and she started laughing on the phone. Then proceeded to say that they don’t serve food that would make people sick. Last place In town I’d eat for sushi. We come to Hinton for business 3-4 times a year. We tried this restaurant and it’s our go to place for a meal. We’ve done take out and dine in and each time we have enjoyed the food. Reasonable prices and great food along with friendly staff who let you take your time and enjoy yourselves. Regarding the “mandatory tip” comment… the POS device gives you an option for a custom amount so you’re not obliged to tip.
