Made the HUGE mistake of coming here with our kids and dog because we wanted a pet friendly restaurant, and what a nightmare. From the incessant swearing from the foul mouthed trying to get drunk girl seated next to us to the one hour + wait for our food, it was a decision I deeply regretted. I should have known it was a mistake when I approached and asked a blonde seemingly snotty server if kids could come in (and mentioned we had a dog,) and she pointed to a door and said "you can bring your dog in here" and failed to tell me the door was locked from the inside which required me to go back inside (after going back outside to round up the fam) to unlock it for my family. "Thanks for the help there!” (*sarcasm injected") I finally told the server if was our mistake when he finally got around to apologizing for the wait because we clearly did not choose a family friendly restaurant (seeing they were downing shots and cursing next to us) The server was a nice guy, however, a wait of over an hour is unacceptable at ANY establishment and I seriously think the restaurant should have also paid for part or better yet ALL of our tab. When another patron walks by and says "good luck with getting your meal" as they walk out it must be pretty obvious the service sucks. Even if your not a family, I would avoid this place. What a joke. Update: the rude speaking girl (or someone in her party put $20 toward our food for being vulgar, most likely someone in her party on her behalf (we never said anything so kudos and credit to whoever did that, but just having class and behaving better would be a better choice. However the restaurant offered no such compensation, but based on the other reviews on here this is not anything new. In addition, the steak salad was supposed to have an 8 oz steak on it and there was maybe 4 or 5 small bites of steak on it at best. Talking about adding insult to injury. My daughter missed out on going to the pool at the hotel because if this 3 hour fiasco. All this restaurant has going for it is location. Otherwise it would be out...
Read moreI honestly don’t know how there’s so many good reviews for this place. We took our family to the indoor restaurant, after being in the heat all day AC sounded great. Well, there was no AC and it was just as hot inside to start with. The hostess was fantastic, but once we got our server (took her over 20 minutes to come bring us water) we ordered 2 drinks and 3 pops for our kids. She missed one one the pops so we had her grab it, she comes back without a straw for it and we remind her about the straw and instead of grabbing it she goes and sits at the bar to talk with the bartender My husband grabbed the straw himself and she noticed and didn’t even acknowledge that she forgot again.
The food came, which looked good but the mains were all painfully dry. My husband had the boar burger, it had no flavor, sauce or seasoning with overcooked meat. The fish and chips were also painfully dry… I had the chicken Philly skillet and the chicken was so dry it was inedible.
I’m seriously baffled that there’s so many good reviews because other than the hostess, the service was trash and so was the food. Atmosphere sucked cause it was too hot. I wish we had spent our money...
Read moreWas one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had if you want to really shity eating experience head on over! It took us well over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by staff and it was not crazy busy then they told us the kitchen was closing down for 20 minutes so we placed our orders and waited half an hour later they told us it be another 45 minute wait for food to be ready after waiting for well over an hour we decide to leave. The worst thing about this place was it was dog friendly on the patio which is great I love dogs except it is only for the dogs the staff members allow they were too small dogs sitting on their owners laps one was jumping up on the table and a larger dog came in and was turned away because the lady said it was illegal for them to have her on the patio for health reasons while this big dog would have sat quietly beside its owner the other two dogs were barking away at patrons walking by I felt really bad for the lady with the big dog we were even trying to get the lady with big dog to come sit with us because we had room...
