My experience here was lukewarm. Initially I was thrilled because they sold kombucha, which I'd been hankering for for a couple days. Never having been in before I spent a few minutes looking at the options, which seemed to confuse the person working. I selected a wrap with tomatoes and carrots and romaine and blue cheese. I added chicken and took off celery. The guy disappeared into the back to make it, which put me off a bit because it seemed like the counters in the front space were unusually messy, and made me wonder what the back looked like. I've worked service jobs, and it's really bad form to leave your work space so messy. He came back with the wrap all finished and seemed surprised when I wanted to take it to eat out. Then he said 'come back if you don't like it and I'll make you a new one,' which is one of the strangest things a restaurant has ever said to me. Like, was there something wrong with it? So I took it across the street to the park and it turned out to be totally fine. There was lots of chicken, the veggies were crunchy, just what I wanted. My one complaint about the wrap itself would be that the blue cheese needed to be crumbled into MUCH smaller pieces and distributed throughout the wrap. As it was, it was in huge clumps clustered together in the middle of the wrap, which was completely overpowering and nearly put me off my dinner halfway through. I picked most of it out so I would actually be able to taste the veggies. With blue cheese a little goes a long way. Overall, not a negative experience, just a little strange and tasting a little too strongly of dirty feet. --Also, there's a typo in their sandwich board! Got to get that fixed, very...
Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. I went to this location about a month ago and it was absolutely terrible. The girl had earbuds in and when I was ordering kept asking me what I was saying and then made me write down what I wanted and kept questioning me after she was putting it into the computer. When I received my meal I paid extra for some things and they weren’t in the bowl. I wasn’t gonna leave a review but I went back today and my experience was even worse she had earbuds in once again and was talking on the phone with a friend the whole time I was trying to order and kept questioning me. They were missing toppings that they normally have. Right now freshi for me is the only place I can go out and eat at due to medical conditions. I can’t have gluten, dairy, sugar, or vegetable oil. For that reason I always get lemon juice and olive oil(like it says on their menu). I saw her in the back pull down a container to fill my cup up that said vegetable oil so olive oil on their menu is not actually olive oil but vegetables oil. So I couldn’t eat it I could only put the lemon juice on there and it was super dry. As I was eating my bowl I felt something slimy in my mouth and turns out half my spring mix was rotten. I tried to pick it all out then proceeded eating and found a long black hair in my bowl tangled in some spring mix. If I am paying $20 for a rice bowl I expect it to be good. I will never be eating here again and I’d advise everyone not to go...
Read moreUsually never have a problem. But, lately, they've been slacking a lot. Ordered on skip. Skip called because they didn't have chia pudding so asked if I wanted a replacement. No worries, just get the miss Vicki's chips. Order arrives. No miss Vicki's chips. Just tortilla chips put in a small bag. The soup was not their usual creamy tomato. It was water tomato. Zero creme. Spilled all inside the bag as well. I wanted to dip my chicken and cheese pocket in it because they also forgot the dip I ordered. But, even the pocket was lacking. Like throwing some change in there. Barely filled. Paid for Smart Water and got Pure Life. Noodles in the Buddha bowl were all stuck together and hard to eat because of this. And the tofu does not taste like tofu. Why does it not taste like tofu!? You guys, what's going on? I'm thankful skip was generous enough to refund the affected items... but,...
