Denny's Restaurant — Restaurant in Township of Langley

My girlfriend and I went to this particular Denny's restaurant in Langley, B.C., because we've been there before, and this time when we went there we were greeted by the Manager, and we sat next to the kitchen entrance. Our servers name was: Valentina, she was very professional, and she had smiled a lot, and was very friendly to us and I asked her where she was from, i knew she was from Latin America, but I wasn't sure what country she was from, so I asked her and she told us that she was from Bogata, Columbia. I was impressed because I have traveled to many latin countries in my past, but i haven't been to Columbia, yet. She informed us of the menu items and I ordered the Lumberman's breakfast, and I asked her to ensure that the meal would be hot, and to have the bacon strips crispy, and to butterfly the sausages until they are golden brown, and the same for the ham slice too, instead of having the pancakes for my breakfast item, i was able to have extra bacon slices, and extra butterfly sausages, and I ordered my eggs to be easy over, and browned hashbrowns too.

My friend ordered a seniors breakfast item, and we both had water to drink.

Our orders came fresh and hot to our table, and everything was done to perfection just as we had ordered them.

I was so impressed by Valentina's excellent customer service skills and her wonderful smiles and her friendliness to us both that I spoke to the Manager to let him know that she's an excellent person and a server too.

I told the Manager there that if Valentina isn't there when we come there the next time that we won't bother coming in to have a meal there.

We will only come there again when she is on shift at this Denny's restaurant in Langley, B.C.

I told the Manager there that he needs to hire servers that are exactly like Valentina is because people like her bring in more business to this Denny's restaurant, simply because she is so nice, and courteous, and friendly, and she smiles a lot and she is a very happy person both inside and out too.

The Manager said that he will talk with her and commend her on her wonderful demeanor and her positive attitude as well.

I also told the Manager that I do restaurant and store reviews as a local guide with Google, and people look at them in order to get a full review of that particular restaurant or store which is solely written and posted by me alone as well.

Upon leaving the restaurant we both waved Goodbye to Valentina, and we told her that we will be back again when she is there again too, she smiled and thanked us and she said Goodbye to the two of of as well.

I strongly recommend that you go to this particular Denny's restaurant, and ask for Valentina, if she isn't in on that day you go in there ask the Manager when she will be on shift again, Trust me, she's worth it, and your meals will be as great tasting as our meals were then too.

New Review: Jan 2023 DISGUSTING I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. IT IS STILL IN VERY BAD CONDITION. NO CHANGE FROM LAST YEARS BAD REVIEW.

Food was Horrible, establishment is Filthy. Eggs - no flavor. Bacon - tiny strips of fat and salty. Pancakes - Dark with burnt flavor. Portions are very small.

Our seats were covered is crumbs, the wall beside us was covered in long rivlets of brown grease and food and greasy finger marks covered the lower half. The condiments are greasy and not wiped. Sides of seating are covered in layers of dirt.

Bathroom: Moldy grout around the back of sinks, lights in toilet stall are thickly layered in dirt.( don't even want to think about whats on those lights) Paper towel racks are sticky and tops are dirty.

All bottoms of walls around the restaurant are black and moldy. The glass in the wine fridge was caked in dried dirty cloth water.

The carpet is so disgusting, that the food and grease is causing mold and shiny spots in large areas of the carpet. Flooring was covered in a layer of dirt.

How is it that the health board has not been called in for an inspection? If the dining area is this bad ...what does the kitchen look like?

Old Review: November 2020 WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS LOCATION??? Sorry...I had to change the star rating to 1 star (could not put 0 stars) We went back November 1st, and there was dust and dirt covering the floors, windowsills, the windows were dirty, the bathrooms....towel dispenser, soap dispenser, mirrors, floors and all edges covered in dirt, garbage can over flowing. The lower bar area was covered in old dirt covered spider webs, some of the hanging lights over the bar were burned out and the clear glass covers were so dirty that they looked white. The service was horrible and the food was all made wrong. The eggs were to have cheese inside but was heavy with melted cheese on top, the hashbrowns weren't cooked enough, the sausage was full of grease, the coffee was bitter. We had to ask for silverware and our waiter (Jay s) didn't come back to offer more coffee. A terrible and disturbing visit!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS LOCATION?? First Review: Food Fast and Hot, fare amount of food on the plate. Host and waiter fast, friendly and attentive. Restaurant was not busy at 4pm Friday night, so a very quiet and relaxing dinner. I do really like the location, it's not ideal though for parking , they only have a few spots to park and that's next door infront of a parking garage from the residential housing (apartments). If you don't mind parking across the street then there is lots of parking via the willowbrook mall. I like this Dennys because it is often not crowded and very laid back and chill . Sometimes a bit busy and that seems to be the same except with people and talking. There is 2 parts , there is the Bar area section on one side called Bar 1 (there tap beers name). On this side you can sit at the bar or there is tables as well. A bunch of tvs all around and if you want to watch a game and it's not playing I have asked and they change it for you. I like it and there is the normal traditional restaurant style with no bar on the other side. both side both serve same food menu not to worry , only difference between the 2 sides is drinking/non drinking. You can eat with your kids as well and you can order a drink here. There is a couple things negative about this location and that is why I gave it such few stars. Food once in a while has been not up to bar and not sure why. They have gladly tried again and it was good the second try. For example my picture I have posted for this review was something that was really odd, deep fried pickles poorly made. Also on a couple occasions I have walked in and wanted to order but there was no one around to even help or order from so left without ordering. The staff is nice though , when they are around lol..all in all I would have loved to give these guys a 4 star maybe 4.5 but just because of those couple things I just told you about makes this Dennys okay.
