Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Township of Langley

I've had some good experiences from this location before, but today was particularly offensive. As indicated on their website, our order tracker, our confirmation email and the receipt, their is a time guarantee on our order. The promise is list as 40 minutes in some places and 50 in others, so we can use 50 for fairness. Our order arrived after 65 minutes, so in fairness, we were entitled to claim the time guarantee. The driver refused to honour it and said that I would have to phone the owner of the store to ask if they would allow it. I requested that the driver call the owner on our behalf, and he tried about 5 times without getting through. He held our order hostage and refused complained to me about how the owner won't be reasonable about this. I expressed empathy but I told him that it wasn't right for him to withhold the order from my family while he settles a dispute with his boss. He reluctantly completed our delivery after about 5 more minutes of me pleading for him to not take things out on us. I feel for him having a rough time at work, but we were nothing but patient and as understanding as we could be. I'm so embarrassed that the driver acted out like this. Very poor customer service skills at this store. We placed a large order for our business group asking for the order to be ready for pick up at 12:00 pm sharp. When we got there at 11:58 am for the pick up, we were informed that the order was not ready because there was only one person working. I said okay, I waited 10 more minutes and still no signs of the order. Then after 30 minutes, the order came out. I called the customer service line and asked for better service and they offered me a 15% discount. However, after the discount was applied, the store employee angrily stated that I should not get a discount because the employee was working by themselves. Extremely poor communication and customer service skills. We will not order from this location again. Waited an extra 30 minutes for the order. Also, I ordered a specialty pizza because we have some employees who are lactose intolerant and paid extra for it. We ordered plant based box for $24. Their website says it comes with 16 pcs of vegan chkun + two types of fries which serves four. At first they just handed us off two fries and we asked where is the rest, they asked did you order it, did the payment go through.we said yes we did ordered isnt that’s why you prepared the fries?!! And it is not at all busy to miss something like this. Then they just hand us off 10 pcs of vegan chkun, when asked shouldn’t there be 16 pcs, this only has 10?!
