Very Disappointed ā Especially on My Birthday
Iām honestly so disappointed with my experience today. Itās my birthday, and I went into Starbucks to get my free birthday drink. I even called ahead because the offer wasnāt showing up on my app. The person I spoke to assured me that as long as I brought my ID, Iād be able to get my birthday drink ā no problem.
When I got there, however, I was told that because I hadnāt made a purchase in the last 2ā3 weeks, I no longer qualified. Iāve been a loyal Starbucks customer all year, and to be told ānoā over something so small on my birthday was really upsetting.
What made it worse was that the manager could have easily made the situation right with a simple āItās okay, hereās a drink on us.ā Instead, I was just turned away. Itās not about the drink ā itās about the experience and how you treat your regular customers.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis morning I called Starbucks for the first time to pick up a Traveller for a meeting. I expressed I had been given a gift card and hoped the person who answered the phone could top up the amount of the gift card with a few baked goods so that I didn't have to use the rest.
When I arrived, I was not only given a warm welcome, but I could see that my traveller was behind the counter getting ready. When the staff rang in my order, it came to an even $25.00 (my gift card amount), and when my receipt was printed, it was noticeably long!
The staff (which I realize later was a manager) expressed that she had "taken care of" the Traveller, and had my gift card go towards baked goods for the meeting, all pre-cut up, placed in beautiful boxes, and ready to go. I almost teared up. It was such a random act of kindness and on valentines day...

Ā Ā Ā Read morewent there today hoping to slip in and grab a quick basic frappucino. i ordered a caramel brĆ»lĆ©e frappuccino, i got some sort of white frappucino that looked as if it was a vanilla bean frappe. asked her if that is how they usually look carelessly, she says yes. i argued with her for 5 minutes about what it is supposed to look like, so i went up to someone near the cash and asked them to remake it as it is not the drink i asked for, the lady looked at me and we sat there arguing for 10 minutes i am trying to get her to understand what extra whip cream is, as she thinks it means cream in the frappucino and no coffee. after she finally gave up she gave me a new one, but did not say sorry or anything. not impressed one bit at other starbucks if they forget whip cream theyāll give me a $4 gift card i couldnāt even get a sorry at this one definitely not worth it and do not come here. service is...
