Sharetea Langley — Restaurant in Township of Langley

I used to live in the area about 2 years ago when this location just opened and although the store was still new, I couldn’t be happier with the service and quality of this location. I was also happy being at the first Sheratea with diversity of all races. The staff were so helpful and when my niece dropped her drink, they cleaned it up and made a new one. It was one of the best experience I had. I came to visit this location again a few days ago when I visited my niece and was shocked with how much the place have changed. First of all, the staff were incompetent and very rude. They did not give a care, were on their phones the majority of the time and did not take the time or effort to create an experience. It also appeared that the diversity was nonexistent. Not a single POC. It seems that whoever took management was not only racist but had terrible taste when hiring or training employees. Editing after response from owner: She ordered it EXACTLY as it says on the menu “Mango Ice Blended with Ice cream” so we wanted it made EXACTLY as it says on your menu. We always order it the same way and we have NEVER been asked if we would like it modified in anyway, also my coworker has been told by your staff that the blended ice drinks are not able to be modified at all so why would we even be asked this question? We will never be back here, your customer service as the MANAGER is really disappointing.

was craving some boba so i went to sharetea (sep 3, 2023 at 5:45). now i understand that they are about to close, but the barista was just chatting with another staff member filling up syrups and didn’t notice i was there until i shouted “excuse me” to them - i only realised there was a bell, placed further away from the cashier until after i ordered.

the barista then proceeded to yell something at one of the other staff about not noticing customers and then came over with no smile, no greeting, and an annoyed look. they didn’t tell me there was an extra charge for getting half pearls half lychee jelly in a drink that came with pearls already… (which isn’t extra charged at other locations!) i feel bad for the guy getting yelled...
