Updated Review (5-star, 2022): Delicious baked goods at super reasonable prices. Everything trends sweet, but that's the point. Their 10%-off 12 steam buns deal is good too, and the insides don't resemble mashed sausage (like T&T's). Egg tarts, Portuguese tarts, coconut buns, pineapple buns, etc.... All very good.

Previous Review (2-star, 2020): Advertises cappuccino, but only has drip coffee. Maybe it's just down for repairs, but their espresso machine appears resigned in it's current role as a shelf.

Second time I've been through here, staffer was still not very friendly and seemed annoyed I couldn't understand her English easily, but we got through it. All of the tables were pretty dirty.

Got a cheese danish and drip coffee while waiting for T&T to open. Got a chunk of plastic in my coffee, and the combo - while somewhat tasty - gave me a bit of a stomachache.

I'll have to try the coconut buns and cheesecake that other reviewers mentioned for the bakery side of things. I don't recommend this place as a café... Head to the bubble tea place across the...

A hidden gem nestled in a great location between North Burnaby and Downtown, this bakery is sweet! A great variety of very fresh and authentic baked snacks at a very good value for money as well as a solid veggie-catering range, whether sweet or savory they have your tastebuds covered. The staff are also super friendly and willing to provide any information about the products. Opening hours of this joint are super convenient and they also do discounts on day old baked snacks which are still very fresh tasting. I love how they also have a great variety of red Bean, matcha snacks as well as thumbprint cookies and value of buying a variety so you can mix and match. I got a Red Bean Paste Egg Yolk (Dan Huang Su (蛋黄酥) which is my new favorite all time and literally tasted incredibly awesome!! As well as a lemon cookie which was also super yummy. Love this place,...

I went in and ordered 3 buns. One bbq pork and 2 cheese with hot dog. The buns were OK. Not great not terrible. The lady told me $3.90 so I gave her $3.90 exactly. As I was walking away she started yelling at me and pretty much accusing me of stealing. I was surprised and I said you told me $3.90 theres $3.90 there what are you talking about. Then she told me a different total $5 and change. I took the $3.90 back and gave her the $5 and change she was asking for. Regardless. It was her mistake, not mine. She made me feel like I was stealing a bun when clearly she made the mistake and did not even apologize. Terrible experience and I will be avoiding this place...

Tried them again and their fruit cream cake and apricot cheesecake were very reasonably priced and affordable compared to other bakeries and were fresh enough. The cakes tasted average good. The woman working there was nice. This place reminds me of a medieval bakery from movies and storybooks. The gingerbread man was $1.85 and hard as a rock and tasted like stale dough. The other fried goods were quite dark implying the frying oil must be brown or that the goods must be overfried. The bakery itself is kinda run down and the items didn’t look the freshest but they are open later and do carry your bakery item needs. They accept cash and debit.
