Qtea — Restaurant in Vancouver

A BRAND NEW bubble tea store opened up in Renfrew, which has provided me great, knowledgeable service, and good drinks! I was there today in line waiting for it not caring too much about the promotion which was advertised on their social media! Too my surprised, I ended up with three more drinks too many and I'm am grateful because I wasn't expecting it. I thought it would be buy one get one for the first 100 customers.

I know what starting up a business is like, so I give them props for trying to accomadate so many people in such a short amount of time 🙏 it might take them awhile to get it up and running efficiently but please have patience. With constructive criticism, things can improve. The milk tea I had was little watered down but hey! Trial and error! I am sure they can get that changed in no time. But being a classless, entitled person like Lenita, Athena, and Igor below, what's the point? Sorry they are oblivious to their promotion lol. Literally she came out and blurted "not worth it" to everybody in line. Let me remind you, IT'S A BRAND NEW STORE, don't have to be so disgusting to the public. I felt kind of bad thinking the staff might had to deal with their nonsense. Also, damn, Lenita coming in with full fire 🔥 🔥 she updates her review so much trying to point out how other people don't like it, but Igor, Lenita, and Athena run in the same group OOP. Also, after checking out Athenas review page, girl gave one star to a place she didn't even try. One star because she had to drive and the place wasn't even open. Like who does that?

Ding Tea is definitely overrated. Drinks are mediocre, and service is horrible.

We came to this specific location because of the BOGO promo going on. We waited for quite a while, watching staffs running back and forth, staring at us and turning away, ignoring our existence. Well, I guess amongst probably 5-6 staffs, only 1 knows how to take orders.

We asked ab the promo and the guy said, if you buy any drink, you’ll get one crystal bubble milk tea regular size. Tbh, I don’t mind getting that, but that’s literally false advertising. The ad mentions nothing about the crystal bubble tea. I asked the guy, and he was like “you should have checked our social media”. Ohm hello, YOU should have made it clear on the ad. What if I drove by and saw the posting? Would I stop to check out your social media account to see if the posting is legit? Put yourself in your customers’ shoes guys.

Ignorant staffs is not the only bad thing; their drinks weren’t even that good. The regular bubble tea tasted pretty ple, and the golden bubbles, despite having the sweet caramelized coating, were pretty much tasteless carbs. I love bubbles, it’s just Ding Tea that sucks at making them.

Taiwaneese bubble tea never disappoints me, but Ding Tea does a pretty good job in getting rid of customers. Tbh, I have never felt bad for spending $6 on my drinks like that before. Go for Sharetea, Chatime, or Yifang. Pretty much anywhere,...

[EDIT] I had an amazing Hot Ginger Milk Tea with pearls months ago and today (2019 Nov 25) I ordered the same drink and was completely disappointed! It was barely warm. It had NO real slices of ginger like last time. I had to microwave it when I got home.

Maybe it's because Jessica wasn't there. She was always the one making sure the standards are met.

With how many bubble tea places available in this area now. I won't be going out of my way to come to Ding Tea. [EDIT]

This location has wonderful hardworking staff who provides great customer service and is knowledgable of the product they are selling.

There is many (yet not too many) varieties to choose from with average prices.

They're ability to customize ice and sweetness amount is welcomed!

The store is clean, well stocked and inviting.

The staff did an excellent job during the soft and office opening of the store.

Ignore reviews who didn't even have the proper information such as, yes they DID say which drink you get for the BOGO! Get your facts straight!
