A&W Canada — Restaurant in Vancouver

i went to this location for the very first tym with my friends as we entered there was 4 workers giving us the look we thought probably they are closing soon as it was around 8:45 pm my friends asked one of the worker are u guys closing? the worker said no it is 24 hrs and the another worker on the till walked (the manager) away by saying “just order if u wanna order what are u staring at faces” in hindi i heard it, and another worker who was sweeping the floor said yes right and they thought i didn’t heard it, i asked the other worker on the till that is that the manger who was on the till? she said yes i said can u plzz call her she called her and i said very politely “ listen i heard what u said i work in customer service too this is not the way to talk, she said sooo? what happened if i said that? i said are u for real right now? she said very rudely sorry just order if u want to. and walked away. this is the most unprofessional way one could ever talk to anyone as a person and we were there as a customer. i think management should be taking care of all of this issues too. customer service and treating customers right should be there first priority. the staff really need to taught some customer...

A&E used to be a family place, but this location is anything but!! Me and my son came here for breakfast and the staff were chasing homeless man out with a broom stick, like he was some kind of animal. It was sad for me and my son to see, as it’s close to the holidays. He bought a coffee and fell asleep after finishing it. He wasn’t bothering anyone, as people sat and ate beside him. Until staff just started slamming their broom stick on the table by his head. (Lucky this man didn’t respond in anger, but he could have. I wouldn’t have blamed him honestly. )

Would have been much nicer to send him on his way with a coffee and kind words. “Sir you can’t sleep here, but let’s refill your coffee on your way.” Just goes to show how far society has fallen. How inhumane people can be … I found this man outside and brought him to McDonald’s for a hot meal, and they welcomed him in. He went about his business after.

I understand there’s a lot of homeless people, but the way they chased him out with a stick was just ridiculous. Maybe they should hire security if needed but treating people like that is...

I went there on 21st of September and oh my goodness was I shocked will be an understatement. A guy on the front named CHARANJEET (mind you guys I specifically learned his name) went to the washroom and his hands were as dry as desert and I could tell he didn’t wash his hands. Came straight to the kitchen and made my food. I wanted to puke right then and there. Who made him supervisor in the first place? He doesn’t deserve a job at a fast food restaurant where cleanliness is the first priority. My stomach ached so bad, I got a checkup and it turns out I have food poisoning. Let’s not forget about the dining area, there were flies. The guy is nasty and lacks hygiene. Not just that, I called the store before visiting and nobody picked the call. Poor hygiene, nasty service, and let’s not talk about the attitude while serving. Am I gonna be refunded for the food and the entire week I had to be take off from work?
