Megabite Pizza Commercial Drive — Restaurant in Vancouver

*Edit #2 The prices went down! oh wait... The slices got smaller. Now instead of cutting each pizza into 8, they're cut into 10.

*Edit #1 I wrote the review below 5 years ago but sadly, the experience isn't as good anymore. The price of a slice has gone up 60% in that time. Is inflation really at 12%? To add to that, you're now promoted with a request for a 15% tip when paying with a card.

Come on, get real. You are handing me a slice of pizza. We are interacting for 30 seconds. It is NOT appropriate to request the same tip that we give for table service in a restaurant, when a skilled worked spends time ensuring your experience is a good one.

I'll give 25 cents on a slice of pizza, 50 cents on two, because with the volume this place cranks out, they'd be getting $10+ an hour in tips at that rate. Asking for $1.20 as the MINIMUM tip is insane. Don't start me on the 20% tip option. It's an insult to real servers and bartenders out there.

Bad pizza, bad service. We were unhappy with this pizza place. We ordered two pizzas and my mom picked them up and brought them home. She had been carrying a few things and the location was busy with nowhere for her to put the pizzas down to check them so she didn’t realize she was given the wrong pizzas. One of the pizzas we were given had beef on it, which I unfortunately can’t eat, and the other had extra peppers when we asked for no peppers. We did take the peppers off the one pizza and ate some of that, but even so the quality of the pizza was so bad we couldn’t even finish the first piece. The one with the beef we couldn’t eat any of. We took the pizza back to them since they got the order wrong and they refused to refund us, even though they admitted that they made a mistake and knew they gave us the wrong pizzas. This was an all around waste of money and time. We definitely won’t be going...

!!! Delivery lets you get to placing your order then it just quits when you try co confirm. Plan B, tried the pick up option. placed the order, it went through. received no info about when to pick up my order. when there about 25 minutes later hoping for some sunday afternoon pizza and chicken. I get there and my order has not been made and there saying that they needed to call to confirm my order. not to happy about that. (THAT'S WHY I ORDERED FROM THE INTERNET) They then tell me the confirmation email says i need to cal to confirm. (A LIE, It does not) They ask me if i now want to place my order. i tell them my time is not worthless i would like a discount on my order or maybe something free for the hassle. They say no, nothing that happened is there fault. (I.E.they don't care about the trouble and inconvenience caused by there ordering system) I leave and eat at Broadway...
