I came here after work and before they closed at 6pm. There is street parking in this neighbourhood. They don't have a designated parking lot. This branch is the biggest among other branches in terms of space and square footage. Most of the items were sold out when I arrived so late in the evening. However, some of the items had 20% off such as buns, egg tarts and cheese tarts because it was at the end of the day. They tried to sell off the rest of the items at a discounted price. Their customer service was okay. The servers at the counter/cashier were polite. I bought their egg tarts, cheese tarts and cakes. All of them were great! This bakery has been in the industry for a while. It's excellent that they can keep up the good quality and the pricing is reasonable. I tried their 6" and 8" cakes in the past. They were great. I personally thought that their quality was better than T&T's. The sweetness of their cakes or pastries in general are about right. I don't like the ones that are super sweet in western bakeries. The only downside is that the style and types of the buns and cakes always remain the same. I did not see any innovative or newer designs on their cakes and pastries. They all look the same to me in all these years.

In the neighbourhood and wanted a little nostalgia, as Anna's has been around since the mid-1970s! Picked up a few goods to go. Their Mango Strawberry Cheesecake ($5.55) was light and fluffy, which we prefer instead of denser cheesecakes. The Mini Chestnut Cake ($5.55) was moist, and the Coconut Tart ($2.50) had a good, crunchy top with the baked coconut flakes. Loved the Green Tea Puff ($4.50) with its generous matcha filling. Service was to the point. If you buy 6+ items, you save on GST. Aside from their custom cakes, they have a good selection of items for all taste preferences, including savoury and sweet!

👍🏻👍🏻Matcha cream puff: cream was light and had very nice bittersweet flavor of matcha, the puff pastry was not the crispy type, but that was exactly what I wanted. I could eat 2 in a row 👍🏻Cream puff: p nice but not as good as the match ones 👌🏻Cheese tart: a b sour not as good as the castella ones imo 👍🏻Walnut napoleon: very crunchy and flaky, had a stronger taste of walnut while not overloaded with buttercream like the saint germain ones. Not a hype, it was the best i ever had

We used to like Anna cake , but recently we visitor anna cake house , brought some cakes and back to our car , suddenly we found out our tires got punctured beside the Anna cake house , due to the emergency, we have to pull over the car in front of the Anna cake shop’ s garage ,my husband was tried to fix the tire, at that time one of the worker or owner who work at Anna cake house drove one car behind and ask us to leave, coz our car block his way ,my husband explained to him that we had emergency problems, but he didn’t care, and even didn’t say something polite, without any help , he was rude and ask us to leave , also showed the pic that they are not allow any car park in front of their garage, we was got shocked , how could these such things happened? We just visited their shop , is it how they treat their customers? If they don’t have any sympathy, how they running their business, how they do their customer service ? I am so confused, and for me I won’t visit the Anna cake in the future , coz I already had enough bad experience, won’t let them...

Where do I start. I guess the only positive is that there is plenty of parking around.

Phoned about a cake for my birthday, employee said "there is one available". We went after 5. They would not honour the 20% off after 5pm discount, even though we said we only ordered because we understood that there was one cake left. Employee argued that that's not what they said; one available does not mean only one cake left. How this business is still open while employees can be straight up rude to customers is beyond me. They lost all hope of future business over 8 dollars. The cake itself was also quite underwhelming; I genuinely think T&T can make better cakes for cheaper. 6 inch cake costed 40 dollars. The store is quite big, but disorganized and dirty. The only employee will stop serving waiting customers to do their own cleaning tasks and whatnot. So in summary: mediocre pastry, poor customer service, dirty store, high prices....
