I have now been at this place twice. The first time was May 23rd. I have driven by this play for about a couple of years and decided to give it a try. When you first walk in you wait and wait for someone to tell you where you can sit. The staff see you but lack to acknowledge you....so you wait or get someone's attention. Once you get seated, you wait and wait again for someone to come to your table. I had to stop someone and ask for a menu, which then one of the servers grabbed from a table adjacent table and gave to us. Then menu was dirty.... Once we were ready, we waited....so I had to stop the server to let them know we were ready to order just for them to tell us that she wasn't our server......so we waited more. I think at this point it was 30 min of waiting. 5 to 10 minutes later the server arrived to take our order. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS PLACE WAS NOT PACKED OR BUSY. Food was average once it arrived. We order a super burrito, tacos, michelada, modelo, churros. As we were eating a live band started playing (good for atmosphere). HOWEVER, we were not even done eating when the server came to us and told us to either pay a cover fee or consume more to stay and listen to a rock band..... between 2 people we were already consuming over $80 within a span of 30 minutes for them to tell us we had to consume more. It was 8pm at this point, so I just told the server to bring me the bill. I left bothered by the experience, as Google reviews made it seem this place was good. I thought maybe this place was a one off bad experience, so I booked a table for 530pm the following week to watch a soccer game. The following week I bring my family and friends, and the SAME THING HAPPENS....We waited to get someone's attention...waited 5 to 10 minutes before anyone gave us attention. We sat down and waited....no one shows up to ask us if they could get us something. By this time we had been there 10 minutes, place was 40% full....staff talking amongst eachother so my party of 8 just decided to leave. Why we left: 1. Poor service 2. No improvement since last visit 3. Live band with LOUD MUSIC and could not hear or enjoy the soccer game. 4. Tables were moved near us and people were dancing to the live band which was okay, however it was annoying to have people bump into us while we got up to move or walk. Overall I dont recommend this place. There are better latin places to go to such as El Patron, Mangos, Margaritas etc. Just my honest opinion 🤷

We saw this Mexican place in the area and traveled 30 minutes to enjoy some Mexican cuisine. The problem started as soon as we arrived. Even though we had seen previous reviews saying that the service was very slow and sometimes bad, we didn’t pay attention, but unfortunately, we confirmed it. They wouldn’t take our order, and even though other people came in, we were the only ones not being served. We had to ask to be attended to, and in a somewhat rude and rushed manner, they took our order. Then, the food: a 30-minute wait for 3 tacos that arrived COLD, and my wife ordered them without onions, but they came with nothing but onions. I ordered a burrito they advertised as 22 inches long, but not even half of it was meat. For 2 micheladas, which were mostly ice and clamato (even though they claim to be 1 liter), 3 tacos, and a burrito, the total was almost 100 dollars. Honestly, I don’t like to complain, but I’ve rarely left a place with such a bad experience. Save yourself a bad time and don’t go to this place. There's a reason they have so many bad reviews...

One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had around Vancouver, no one said hello to us, we waited around 15 minutes to be greeted, I even needed to let the waitress know that we were waiting to be taken care of and even she didn’t even said hello, apologized or felt empathy towards us, she just took our orders and left. We asked to be started with some guacamole before our mains, but she brought the mains before them. Her fake excuse was the guacamole apparently takes longer to do than tacos. (Ofc she just invented that cause every time I went there before with my friends we always get the guacamole first). To be honest I used to like this place a lot and felt like a regular bit after this type of service I won’t recommend anyone to visit this place, food is great but definitely left with a bad experience. Plus they charged us liquor tax on food even tho we didn’t even ordered any alcoholic beverages. She just said that the system is wrong and than she couldn’t do anything about it.

I had been curious about this place for a while now and thought it would be a good place to catch Canucks playoff. Got seated and had our drink orders taken pretty quick. The drinks took a little long to arrive but not too bad. We also put an order down for a ceviche sharing plate when we got the drinks. We came for a Canucks playoff game and I totally get that other patrons were there to watch other sports as well but there were only 2 TVs (out of 8 or 9) playing the Canucks game and they were on the same wall. So if you were seated right below those two TVs, like I was, you're stuck watching something else on the other wall. The other frustrating thing was that 3 of the TVs weren't showing anything at all, just stuck on some random Google page or PC desktop. We asked if they could change one of the blank TVs on the opposite wall to the hockey game. But they said they couldn't do it because of the way they are wired up it would change the other sports being played on that wall. At this point, 30mins had past since we ordered the ceviche and there was no sign of our food or server. Other tables were getting a constant flow of food and drinks while the servers neglected our table even when our drinks were low. We asked another server about checking on our food and she said, the ceviche plate would take 50-60mins. Our original server said nothing about this, if she had, we would've ordered something else. Another 20mins passes while I watch the other tables get their orders and chatted up by the servers before our food comes. To be fair, the ceviche was tasty when it came after almost an hour. We hastily devoured the plate, asked for the bill, paid, and got out of there as fast as we could so we could finish watching the rest of the game at...

Went twice there, lunch and dinner. First visit was bit better as the food was slightly better, tastier & seemed fresher. Second visit was at dinner time. The place was very busy. I went with a group of friends. We were told we could wait if we wanted as some customers were leaving. So we did. The customers left. We sat ourselves as no one came to help us. We waited and waited. Eventually a waitress came dropped menus without even bother cleaning the table for us. Moments later another waitress came to ask us if we were ready to order. Did I mention the table still was not cleared and clean from the previous customers? She took the order. Eventually drinks arrived and eventually she cleaned the table with us and our drinks at & on the table. I really wanted to leave the moment we sat at a dirty table and no one came to clean it but, I was in a group, the placed was suggested by a good friend so, I didn't say anything. I regret not saying something. Starters and main dishes come at once. Not enough room on the table to place everything. They don't care. I was totally disappointed with my food. It was not what I expected. Ir was bland, some of the ingredients were obviously from a can (canned mushrooms) like really? Last and worst of all: customer service. None. Both visits, with one exception, the waitresses in this place are anything but nice or friendly. They don't make you feel welcomed at all. Trying to get their attention was simply impossible. They serve the food and don't come back to check on the customers. I can go on and on but I think you get the picture. In addition, my friend and I ordered the same dish. We both got sick the next day. Both of us got stomach problems. No, I don't recommend this...
