I was looking for a place to work on my laptop and drink coffee for 2 to 3 hours. I discovered this location using Google Maps. I chose this one based on the reviews and available parking in the neighbourhood. When I first arrived, I chose a seat and placed my luggage on it, removed my jacket, and began pairing my new earbuds with my laptop in preparation for ordering a hot coffee. It was when the barista (who later introduced herself as the owner) asked if I needed anything. I told her I'd be ready to order in 5 minutes after I finished setting everything up. She had left the counter less than 5 minutes before and was on the floor asking me what I was going to order. It seemed strange to me, and I told her I'd definitely order something to drink or eat after my tasks were completed. She did, however, mention that they have strict rules regarding orders. After a while, I left my laptop and went to the counter, asking her what those strict policies in this place are because I want to stay here for 3 hours, and if it's a problem for your business, please let me know so I can go to Starbucks or Breka. She explained that this is not a library and that people usually order an item when they arrive and then stay as long as they want as long as they respect other customers. I ordered my coffee and stayed for three hours before leaving to go to Breka next door and spend more time there!! I'm not sure how they were customers or what their experiences with previous clients were, but being that pushy...
Read moreWorst customer service of my life i felt incredibly uncomfortable. The barista was INCREDIBLY rude to myself and my friends. First my friend came and ordered and later asked for the bathroom key and the female middle aged barista was super rude and told her a specific place to stand and that she would give the key to her in a few minutes. Then myself and my two friends walked in and she GLARED at us. I felt incredibly uncomfortable. Ordered a drink and tipped and she still seemed bothered. Then my friend asked for an iced latte, she made it hot and then refused to remake the order. Then our other friend came and she glared at him as well. My boyfriend came and moved a chair over to the table and she called to him across the restaurant that he could not use the chair. Then she said very pushy across the cafe saying “what can i get you started” pressuring him to order”. my friend had a sandwich and she gave her a dealt glare and told her no outside food even though she wasn’t eating it. She brought my friend to tears with her harsh tone and glares. Overall...
Read moreWorst Blenz Cofee in Vancouver. My mother, my sister and I went to have breakfast at this place. My mother wanted to use the bathroom. We asked politely the waitress to give her the keys as my mother needed it to use the bathroom right away. She told us she would give us the keys after we paid. We got really offended as we were preparing already to pay some coffee and croissants. After we paid she gave us the keys. I told her how rude her behavior was. She replied to me she followed the rules of the store. She could only give the keys after receiving a payment. Very rude. That was my first time in this coffee and the last time in my entire life. I think Sometimes people needs to use their brains, it could be useful. Our first intention was to stay, but after what this woman did, we left to go to Breka...
