This is the 3rd time we have experience the worst customer service ever. The manager at this store is so rude and does not offer any help or solutions. Frankly, she is awful and does not have any customer service skills what so ever. If this were my store, I would be truly embarrassed that this is how things are run when I am not around. Today she even hung up on me. I called to place my order for delivery, through the call centre. They put it all together for me, specials and all. Transferred the order to the Alma store for confirmation & payment. Once transferred, our order is no where to be found. The manager instantly starts arguing with me and saying that I have never placed an order and those specials are no longer valid. Yet we are looking at the specials online, and just had the call centre confirm. When I asked for the managers name, she would not give it to me. We also asked if she could provide us with head offices number and the answer was no. She would not provide us with any solutions, told us to order online and not call the store or head office...
The first time we placed our order online for delivery. They did not have a driver, so they called and asked us if we could come pick it up. We were unable to, that's why we choose delivery in the first place. So they hired someone who came in to get their own pizza and asked them to deliver ours, a random person... They gave a random person our home address. Our order arrives and we have the wrong pizza.... We ordered a meat lovers and were sent a deluxe. When we called to complain, they apologized, but since they did not have a driver they were unable to deliver a new one. She told me that the manager would call me the next day. We never got a phone call & when we called in, there were no notes about this happening or any awareness of the situation. No credits were offered.
The second time we decided to go through door dash as we assumed they did not have a driver again. Our driver arrives with only one pizza, missing the second and our drinks. AGAIN she asks if we are able to come pick it up as they have no help. Finally after 15 minutes on the phone with this manager - she hires a uber driver to bring us our missing order..
After all these terrible experiences, delays, missing items, and rude interactions, we have not been offered anything to make up for it. Do not ask me why, we decided to try and let them redeem themselves tonight and attempt to order one last time. We will never make that mistake again. Read moreI ordered $80 worth of Pizza for my daughter’s birthday from Papa Johns ALMA street Location—Vancouver BC. The app wasn’t working to track the pizza being made etc.. we called after 45 min. The lady told us it was ready and she was waiting for delivery driver…maybe another 10 minutes. We called again after 1 hr 30 minutes. Still no driver coming soon. Then 2 hours later we called and told them the app is now working and it says that the order was delivered (when clearly it was not!) and to rate our driver “Joe”! They told me it wasn’t picked up yet by the driver. I told them to hold onto it and that my husband Was on his way. We are 5 minutes away. My husband picked up all the pizzas. The labels on the outside describing them were correct. He brought them home and 2 of them were completely incorrect. They gave us only cheese pizzas. The correct topping ones were incorrect with extra sauce. I have been ordering from this location for years and recently had another experience with this location where they made one of our pizzas wrong and hubby who picked it up waited another 20 minutes. No apology from the owner or manager. Just that mistakes happen. I am not sure if they changed ownership post panademic. Pizza tastes saltier and not the same. We have thrown in the towel and will never waste or time or money ordering from here. In addition, they gave my number to a skip the dishes guy who called me and confronted me on why I picked up my order (after 2 hours of waiting) and then he hung up on me! We called the owner to let her know the 2 pizzas were just cheese and she said she was going to send the correct pizzas which she never did. My husband put the 2 pizzas away as last time she wanted the wrong pizza returned- which we did return. They never showed up with the replacement pizzas. Read moreI read a few reviews and it looks like I experienced similar service as others. I called in to order for pickup. I was on hold for a while, after that they asked me if I was this other person right off the bat I didn't even have time to say hello and insisted on that name for a while. I said no that is not my name... Not sure why as I never have ordered from this location before and also had my number for over 10 years now. Then they proceeded to ask for my first and last name and insisted on giving them a last name "to confirm your information"????. I have ordered from multiple different pizza places, and restaurants all over I have never come across a place where they insisted on a last name, in fact most places just want a phone number and maybe a first name to the order. Then they kept asking if I wanted this or that from the menu not allowing me time to speak of what I actually wanted. I understand they have to push their specials or part of their menu but you have to leave the customer to either ask if they wanted some help ordering or allow them to talk. If this wasn't a franchised company and well known I probably would not have continued with my order.
