This is definitely a higher end sushi restaurant. Their price for speciality roll sushi is higher than most other restaurants around the area. The presentation is very impressive, especially considering I waited for only 7 minutes before the first roll arrived. I ordered the real crab roll. It was too salty. I recommend less mayonnaise and salt. Not the best real crab roll I had around the Broadway area, but it was definitely the most good looking real crab roll I had. I also ordered the double avocado roll-basically avocado roll with special avocado mousse on top. Again the presentation is spot on. However, it tasted too salty and too sour. The avocado mousse on the top was about half a teaspoon each. Not a good deal. I will definitely not order this one again. The avocado filling in the roll wasn’t generous either, I have been to sushi places across Broadway and the avocado roll I had here is one of the skinnier ones. Overall the taste is too salty, but the service was fast and friendly. I ordered 2 real crab rolls and 1 double avocado roll and my...
Read moreBeen to Cozen Japanese Cuisine for two dinners. Service is friendly. Lunch specials (12:00pm-3:30pm) are teishoku style.
Negi toro maki ($6.00) - rolls were stiff. Chopped scallop roll ($7.50) Miso black cod ($19.00) - delicate but small. Cozen nigiri combo ($36.00 for 9) - best were the shima aji, unagi and saba. Surprised we were given a chu toro. Spicy agedashi tofu ($8.50) Spicy chopped scallop roll ($8.00) Scoville heat roll ($15.00) - deep fried onions were tasty. The sauce (a salsa verde, Japanese style) had a good kick. Salmon sashimi ($15.00 for 6) Futomaki ($12.00) - nothing stood out. California roll ($5.00) Sockeye salmon oshi ($16.00) - nicely seared, miso mayo sauce was enjoyable. Beef teriyaki ($17.00) - beef was a touch dry. Rice is not good. Chicken yakisoba ($14.00) - bland and boring. Wouldn't order again. Grilled mackerel ($15.00) - mackerel was excellent. Simple, but well executed.

Read moreThey need to change a few things: when I ordered a veggie meal I did not read that it would all be tempura. The menu gave me an impression that it was a noodle with stir-fry dish. So that was disappointing and kind of disgusting (noodles and tempura???) as it was my main dish. Also, their pick up system was unfair. Chefs place out orders on a wall shelf and do not pre-package food to go in a bag. You should do that. You should just add it automatically to a to go charge because you do not have enough staff to leave food grouped together on a shelf without a bag. Serving staff were running off their feet trying to look through tags and ensure that all items paid for were included. This same staff are supposed to be hosting and taking care of customers. It is too much stress and pressure and time wasting that happens with your current system. Your serving staff and your customers...
