My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at CRAFT Beer Market English Bay, and we were absolutely blown away by the overall experience. From the delectable dishes to the exceptional service, everything about our visit exceeded our expectations.

Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Our server, Emily C., deserves a special mention for her outstanding service throughout the evening. Not only was she attentive and knowledgeable, but she also provided excellent recommendations that left us completely satisfied.

For our main courses, I decided to try the prawn fettuccine, while my husband opted for the AC burger and poutine, which was highly recommended by Emily C. The prawn fettuccine was a delightful combination of perfectly cooked pasta, succulent prawns, and a creamy sauce that was bursting with flavor. The burger was juicy, seasoned to perfection, and accompanied by a generous portion of crispy poutine that had just the right amount of cheese curds and gravy. It's safe to say that every bite was pure bliss.

What made our dining experience even more exceptional was Emily C.'s thoughtful gesture of bringing us a selection of beer tasters to complement our meals. This attention to detail and her genuine passion for ensuring our satisfaction truly set Craft Beer Market apart.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for an intimate dinner. The staff, including Emily C., worked seamlessly to ensure that we had an unforgettable evening. Their professionalism, coupled with their genuine warmth and friendliness, made us feel like valued guests.

We cannot recommend Craft enough. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a casual gathering with friends, this restaurant is a must-visit. The prawn fettuccine and the AC burger with poutine are absolute must-try dishes!

Thank you to Emily C. and the entire team for providing us with such a memorable...

We visited this place for a birthday brunch with a group of 12, and overall, it’s a beautiful spot with a lovely view. The space has been recently renovated and looks very nice—definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere alone.

That said, there were a few service-related issues that affected our experience. Although we had a reservation for 12 people, the restaurant was empty when we arrived, and we were seated on the upper balcony at two separate tables. This was disappointing, as part of the joy of dining out with a large group is being able to sit together and share the moment. The server did try to help, but needed to check with a manager for almost every request. Eventually, we were allowed to move the tables slightly, but still ended up split into two separate groups. We were told the restaurant doesn’t allow tables to be pushed together, which was surprising and a bit frustrating given the context.

Service throughout the meal was inconsistent. When we first sat down, only drink orders were taken, and we were told food orders would come later. Some of us were ready to order food right away, but we respected the process. However, when it was time to order food, I asked for a few more minutes to decide—unfortunately, the server never returned. I eventually had to place my order with a supervisor, who did not seem particularly pleased about it.

Throughout the meal, the server didn’t check in to see if we needed anything else like water, coffee, salt, or pepper, despite the restaurant still being relatively empty. This lack of attentiveness was a bit disappointing.

The food itself was fresh and tasty, which we appreciated. Just be aware that a service fee is automatically added for large groups.

Overall, while the setting and food were great, the service experience could use some improvement—especially when accommodating...

I'm writing this Google review to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent visit to your restaurant. It was a truly disappointing experience, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts with potential customers.

Cleanliness and Sanitation: The restaurant was shockingly unclean, with numerous MICE 🐁 running around. This raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene of the establishment.

Management's Response: We promptly informed the manager about the mice, and while he offered apologies and promised to rectify the situation, his actions were confusing and ineffective. After multiple assurances, we had no choice but to leave our food and drinks unfinished and exit the premises.

Unhygienic KITCHEN : As we were leaving, we witnessed yet another MOUSE 🐁 running down the kitchen area. This was extremely unsettling and further validated our concerns about the restaurant's cleanliness.

Unpleasant Encounter: To exacerbate matters, a staff member approached us as we were almost at our car, demanding that we return to settle part of the bill. This inconvenience and the staff's behavior were highly disappointing and disrespectful. It felt as though we were being accused of trying to leave without payment, which was far from the case.

Overall Experience: The culmination of these problems, combined with the cold weather, made the entire evening incredibly unpleasant. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt that the restaurant was determined to make our night worse.

Due to these severe issues, I have no intention of ever returning to your restaurant. The lack of cleanliness and the inadequate customer care I experienced are entirely unacceptable. I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and make significant improvements to ensure a better experience for...

This restaurant truly stands out as a must-visit spot. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff here are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of spectacular. One piece of advice: make sure to book a table in advance as this place is always bustling with patrons, which is a testament to its popularity and the high quality of its offerings. The menu here is quite impressive, featuring a wide range of dishes that cater to all tastes. However, what really sets this place apart is their extensive selection of beers. Whether you're a craft beer aficionado or just someone who enjoys a casual brew, you'll find something that suits your palate perfectly. The beers are well-curated and pair wonderfully with the meals, enhancing the flavors and making for a memorable dining experience. As for the food, it's consistently good. The dishes are well-prepared and tasty, with enough variety to keep you coming back to try something new each time. While it may not be the star attraction compared to their stellar beer collection, the food definitely holds its own and complements the drinks nicely. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic choice whether you're looking for a place to have a business dinner, a casual meal with friends, or just to unwind after a long day. The combination of excellent service, a delightful ambiance, a superb drink selection, and solid food options makes it a place worth visiting and revisiting. Remember to book ahead to avoid disappointment, as it’s a popular spot for good reason. It’s definitely worth the wait!

Almost had a bad time but got a last minute rescue. We came in for a quick bite and were told that burgers were on special for $5. The server said it was only the classic burger as on the menu, which comes with two patties. The burger doesn’t come with a side on special. When it arrived, we noticed that it only had one patty, and seemed like a scaled down version of their full-priced classic, which we didn’t know. It almost felt like a concession stand burger (see photo) but tasted ok. We mentioned to another server passing by that it’s not what we thought we were ordering and she said we can add an extra patty for an extra charge… At that point, with a charged side it’s almost the same price as the regular burger. We were ready to write Craft off our regular spots until Riley the manager came to the rescue. She took the burger off our bill and gave us two free drinks to make up for it. Go Riley. Both my friend and I were restaurant managers for years so we’re extra aware of good training and service. The staff were friendly but seemed like they could use more info (or at least divulge relevant info like the missing patty). Riley clearly knows that a happy customer is a lifetime customer and the cost to the restaurant of an extra patty isn’t worth 50 years of lost business. We didn’t make a fuss as we’ve been on the receiving end of angry customers many times, but we felt it’s important to bring it up to help the staff learn so the restaurant will continue thriving. Food here is consistently good (not incredible) but the price point is more than fair for what you’re getting. Great place for drinks and a chill experience. Will return (all thanks to Riley).

It's a very large space, which is great with a fairly nice patio and view. The ambiance really changes depending on where you sit. There is even a "beer garden" style patio. I prefer the inside upstairs lounge or the main patio. They both have views depending on where you are seated. Craft has a modern and definitly casual feel, with mostly wood tables and floors, some comfy bench seating. They do have happy hour from 3-6pm daily. Sundays were all day happy hour, but they have stopped doing that. Also, their bubbles used to be $6 on happy and now its $9. I took a star away for those reasons and I don't frequent Craft anymore because of that. The food is fairly typical bar food. Everything I have tried is decent, but nothing really stand about as amazing. Their burgers are flavourful, but very messy and they use the wrong Lettuce if you order it protein style (wrapped in Lettuce). I liked the ceaser salad and it's a decent proportion. Pizza's are not bad, but need more love. My favorite item would probably be the fish tacos except they are shy on fish or would be better if they used a smaller flour tortia. Hot wings are not bad. It's very straight forward decent bar food, but not for foodies lol. It's more of a drinking place. I believe they have brunch which I haven't tried yet. I have had some fantastic wait staff. It's been all pretty ladies, very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent which makes is always busy and pricey, same $$ as Cactus Club.
