Set your expectations like you’re discovering a rare find in a food court, and you’ll appreciate this spot even more. It’s not fine dining, but what you pay is cheap, and the value is excellent. The dumpling wrappers are just the right thickness, packed with meat, it’s hand made and served in generous portions and its meat juice is so good. Again, it’s hand made, not machine or ready made elsewhere! Everything is freshly made by the couple that runs it. We were in luck when they steamed a fresh batch for us, which made a big difference. Yum.

Even if they’re done in batches during rush hours, the quality of ingredients, portion size, and taste is already better than many dumpling places around. It’s not salty so I can tell it’s healthy- proteinful and steamed.

The options on the menu is not a lot—mainly wontons, XLB, and dumplings—but they’re all solid. I’ll definitely be...

Been to this spot three times now since it opened as xiao long baos are one of my favourite foods. I would say this place is a pretty solid B. The best aspect of their XLB is that it is filled with a large portion of meat. Compared to places I've been to, this is clearly the biggest. The flavour is also very good

However their consistency with the thickness of the wrapper and soup inside the dumping needs improvement. My third batch had a really thick wrapper which took away from the enjoyment. And my first and third batch had some xlbs without soup inside.

Decreasing star rating. Tried this two more times and both times now the XLB lacks soup and the wrapper is cold. Very disappointing as I would have loved a good place...

I work close by and since finding out about their soup dumping, I have been buying lunch once per week. Loved it when I first came as the food came out from the cooker hot and fresh. Recently, possibly due to their success, they are cutting corners and pre cooking the soup dumplings and putting it in an ice box by the cashier to "keep it warm." When I told them I wanted it fresh and that I didn't mind waiting 5-10 minutes, the guy behind the counter gave me attitude and said it came out five minutes ago. If you want luke warm soup dumping with partially congealed soup then this is the place to come otherwise I would go elsewhere to eat. Very disappointing. I'll check back in a few months, but for now, I'll take my...

Great addition to City Square food court. Menu is small, but prices are affordable. There's 2 people running the place, with one primarily making dumplings and the other taking/making orders. We came by during lunchtime and waited about 10-15mins for our food. Wonton soup was our favourite, as it was piping hot and came with plenty of wontons. The filling was quite similar to the soup dumplings, which was interesting. The soup dumplings were juicy and flavourful but wasn't served super hot. The same with the dumplings. Overall, the food for the price is great. I wish the other two times were served hotter. They're still pretty new and sorting things out. I'd happily come back for the wonton soup!
