Tasty and healthy, vegetable-forward bowls with Malaysian flavours. The menu is very customizable - you choose your base, your protein, and the type of rice or noodle. Very vegan-friendly - the majority of the menu is vegan if you choose tofu or mixed veg as your "protein". The entrees are very filling and the price is reasonable for the quality and amount of food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It's counter service and relatively quick, so good for a quick meal. Comfortable environment for dining in even though it seems like most customers do takeout.

Finally tried this place via delivery after a number of years and I was highly impressed with the freshness, quality, and quantity of the food considering Yaletown pricing. The Laksa Soup Bowl had a nice light coconut curry flavour, Pad Thai was tasty while loaded with veggies, and the Green Curry Bowl was so fresh & vibrant. They accommodated the request for hot sauce and each came with a delicious satay spice. Get extra sauce, you won't regret it. Will become a staple “go-to” when in need of a healthy and hearty lunch / dinner.

I have been coming here for years, and I have been having their stir fries (mee goreng or rice vermicelli goreng) and Laksa. Lately I tried the stir fries a few days in a row and I am so impressed! The 'qi' or wok hei is always there..despite all the modern touches. Well done! The feeling is like that of Asia for me, tasting the Qi and the caramelization. And it's not some Chinese sifu doing the frying. Very impressed! * pic is of bowl mid meal

Hello!

I don't write reviews or give feedback but I just wanted anyone thinking of buying anything from this place and location to know what to expect. I bought a meal for my wife because she would be having a long day and it got me so mad to find out that this place really had her order wrong. She's a vegetarian so you would think and order with no meat wouldn't get messed up but it actually did. She almost ate a beef bowl without even realizing and ending up trying to take it out so she may have something to eat but it wasn't possible. This got me so mad, honestly. There wasn't a line or anyone in the location so I'm not sure how this is even possible but what makes it worse is when I called to get it sorted, they said it was the manager who did it and has left for the day...

Just beware, check your food and make sure you have your proper items because it seems like even the manager of this place has a hard time getting it right on a slow day. Good luck to anyone eating here...

We were a party of three dining at this place, and while we were expecting a pleasant experience, what we witnessed left us completely shocked. During our visit, an Uber driver arrived to pick up a food order and politely asked the staff if he could use the washroom. I overheard the conversation, and to my disbelief, the staff told him he would have to purchase something in order to use it.

This level of insensitivity and lack of basic human empathy was truly upsetting. It’s disheartening to see someone treated so poorly—especially someone who’s just doing their job. The response from the staff felt unnecessarily harsh and lacking compassion.

Honestly, I wish I could give this place zero stars. That kind of attitude completely overshadowed the rest of the visit. I will not be returning, and I hope the management seriously reconsiders how they...

Meh, really. I ordered a Laksa noodle bowl, and it was fine. There wasn't anything special about the taste, though it was fresh. They could've made it more exciting, like using a full egg instead of just half, especially considering the price compared to other restaurants. In general, I don't think I'll try this dish again, but there's nothing to complain about. My rating might be because of the bowl I ordered, so I'll try another dish, maybe a rice bowl, and will update my review.

[Update April 2024] Changing my rating from 3 to 4. I ordered the Pad Thai noodle bowl with tofu pieces and egg. I kind of enjoyed it. The stir-fried flavor was unique, and the portion was generous. The crushed peanuts were also a nice addition. The only issue was that the noodles were a bit dry, which gave the impression they weren’t fresh. Overall, though, it was...
