This is a nice centre in the Yaletown. The best location for neighbours or visitors. It takes only 3 minutes walk to there from the Canada Line Yaletown-Roundhouse station. If you never been to this centre, it's worth make a trip. There are a CPR Engine 374 Pavilion train display. The staff there are friendly and helpful too. This centre is always hold many events. Please check it out. The building is beautiful in and out and all well kept. The surrounding area David Lam Park and waterfront walk is good for all. There are also a ferry in the False Creek can take you stroll around this whole area by a ferry.

Went see a show for the Vancouver International Dance Festival. Was pleasantly surprised how nice this facility was. Area before the theatre has a stage with tables and chairs for musicians and art peices to view pre-performance. Picture is the stage before the performance.

Magical little stop when in Yaletown at least go look at the choo-choo train with your little ones if you don’t sign up for a class

Rude and inconsiderate staff. My friend and I went to go play volleyball and the front desk ladies (who were very sweet) told us to go inside the gym to find a guy with a t-shirt with “staff” on it. When we went inside, we couldn’t really identify him.

We got our gear on and it was 4:30, and we finally found the staff guy but it was difficult for us to approach him since he was in an intense game of basketball, So we went to the front desk and this time it was an Asian guy, and we asked if he could help us set up the nets and he got up and clearly agitated, he tells the staff guy in the gym to help us and snuck in “give them a hard time for me will ya?” I’m sorry, isn’t it your job to help us out? It’s a community centre for Christ sake. Anyway the staff guy in the gym didn’t help us at all and continued with his basketball game.

30minutes later, at 5pm, he FINALLY helped us set up the nets. I am very aware of the 4 participants minimum for a net and we found a few other people to play volleyball right before the drop in, so I was confused as to why it took 30 minutes for them to set it up.

Also, there were little kids running around and mind you it was a preteen/youth drop in session and I feel like the ignorant staff didn’t care who came in and what not 😭 (I think they very much should) which further shows the disorganization of this drop in. The staff guy was also swearing and using a lot of foul language in the presence of little kids which I think is not really appropriate. it’s literally a rule that’s written on the door of the gym. It’s funny how their own staff would defy this very rule.

Kinda disappointed but I didn’t expect much since it was free. Anyway I just hope that in the future that at the very LEAST the staff follows the rules so that they can set a good example to the little ones and create a safe and welcoming environment at the COMMUNITY centre. Yeah my friend and I think this place is a big fat troll and that we should only...

This is the reason I don’t trust google reviews. Every cockroach and rat is rated 4.8 stars.

About six months ago while participating in one their programmed event, I was assaulted. This was/is a supervised event. Guess what? The supervisor was napping through it all. I called the police and an incident report was registered.

Management banned both the assailant and myself calling in a “cooling” down period. Despite I resorted to legal means instead of retaliation, I was equally punished.

A month later I was interrogated /interviewed. Interesting enough, the facility manager revealed to me this happens often at Roundhouse. While intent was to brush the significance of the occurrence, but ironically reveals the nonchalant attitude of the staffs for patrons’ safety or well-being. She laughed it off as if it was nothing.

Anyways, 6 months has passed, my judgement is now sound to give it an adequate review. How I see it now is, the underbelly of Vancouver, the poor, the disfranchised, the disgruntled, the low self-esteemed participate events at the Roundhouse to rescue any tiny ounce of their “dignity” whether through cheat or deceit. This is the nature of who participates at Roundhouse. $hit is gonna happen. Always...

July 28 2025 late afternoon front desk lady VERY rude, and she lied about schedule, I asked for a room for casual use and she told me in a very bad manner that there was no room for the next half an hour, I says ok I will wait, she rolled her eyes, then a minute later her coworker came and he asked me if I was being helped I told him I was waiting for a room and he is like oh ok there is one room available...... So....... Then gave me the keys I accidentally opened the YOGA room and the instructor came and basically told me off very angry too seriously I thought she was going to punch me, ok then after I'm done using the room I got assigned went back to front desk to give the key back and get my access card back, the same rude angry lady , I said hi here is the key can I get my card back, she didn't even looked at me, she took my card and threw down the card on to the desk. Si freaking angry, if you are not happy working there you last shouldn't, we all are going through something and you don't have the right to be that bitchy that goes to the yoga...
