Dr. Grace did some Botox and added some filler on one side of my lip in the summer about 6 months ago. I had filler in my lips previous from somewhere else, but they were a little uneven. When she assessed me she was really thorough. She added filler in my lip exactly where I needed it and completed evened out my lips. I felt bad I didn’t get around to writing a review sooner, but as it was my first time going here I wanted to see how the results were after a week or so before writing my review and then I got so busy. Anyways my lips look awesome and my Botox lasted a good amount of time which I was happy about. As I was there she drew up a future plan for my face and talked to me about a lot of different options. She was really knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable and also worked with my budget. She told me I could get botox around my chin/jaw/neck area to relax my muscles. I grind my teeth at night so my muscles in my jaw/neck get a workout, I never told her that though, she just knew from looking which was impressive! I told her I was definitely interested in getting this when I came back next. I went back yesterday and got the Botox for my jaw and I’m happy with the results already. Dr. Grace also gave me some Botox in my forehead as per my request and she was very gentle and didn’t add more than I needed which I appreciated. I’m very happy with all my results from here so far, the results look amazing, the staff and Dr. are very friendly, and how much Dr. Grace knows about injectables makes me feel at ease coming here, I won’t go anywhere else now. :)

About 3 years ago I also got my eyebrows microbladed here, I wasn’t aware they did injectables though or I would have started getting them here earlier. Anyways, Veronica Best did my eyebrows and she did an AMAZING job, I’m not sure if she still works here or not, she went by ‘Brows by Best’ I believe. When I was younger I had my eyebrows tattoo’d on, the shape didn’t suit my face and the colour didn’t match my skin tone. Veronica was very precise with measuring out my face, she used a stencil with exact measurements on it to mark all my features and eyebrows. She honestly gave me the most perfect shape and arch! I always get compliments and I never have to do my brows which is the best part. She totally corrected the old colour of my pre-existing tattoo’d eyebrows as well as added some feather strokes at the front of my brows with micro-blading to make it looks very natural. I’ve gone in for my complimentary touch up and one more touch up after that and they’ve stayed amazing. I’m beyond happy with these brows and recommended my mom go here, she did and she is very happy as well!

I have never written a Google review before, however, just with the entire situation I thought it would be effective to write one. I recently had a disappointing experience with the Skin Girls. This was my first time booking with the Skin Girls and I was really excited as I had just moved to Vancouver and I was really looking forward to see how their services are. The booking was easy and the lady on the phone was an absolute gem and super informative. I had looked at the reviews and everyone had left amazing reviews. However, yesterday (Lower Mainland’s first snow fall and the crazy traffic) I had called in at 3:00 expressing my concerns with the weather and stating that I was coming from Surrey (after work) and the roads seemed to be a challenge to drive in. Additionally, I had acknowledged I know there is a $105 charge for a “no show” or cancellation within the 24 hours window (which I totally understand from a business perspective); thus I asked if I could get an earlier appointment - in hopes to beat traffic. However, the gentleman on the phone stated that they were booked up until my appointment time and if I cancelled the system would automatically charge. I tried to leave work early to make it in time (3:30 pm) the gps was showing me 2 hours to get there (usually it only takes an hour), which would mean I would make it possibly right on time for my 5:30 appointment. The time kept increasing and the road conditions were bad, I had my husband call and let the gentleman know I would not be able to make it and asked if there were any exceptions to the $105 charge and he was informed that there was not as so many cancellations were happening and that other people had made it out from Surrey and the charge is applied due to the appointments being booked in advance and not being able to take other clients, my husband was definitely frustrated with the answer. I understand that the charges are required for “no shows” or last minute cancellations and had I have cancelled for my own reasons I would understand and would not be frustrated with the $105 charge. I would have loved to get my services as I am sure they might be great based on their reviews, however, I believe there should some exceptions made with severe weather conditions. The lack of empathy and understanding for the circumstances left me quite dissatisfied. Customer service should prioritize flexibility in such situations.

If you’re looking for a medical spa where you feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of, look no further - you’ve found “the one”.

Firstly, they’re super transparent with their prices. While it sounds like the bare minimum, there are so many other places that try to upsell or overcharge you. I had the exact opposite experience here at The Skin Girls. They actually informed me that the amount of units I thought I needed would be too much, and suggested less - in turn, saving me money but giving me the incredible results I wanted. This was such a breath of fresh air and confirmed what my gut already knew: they don’t just want your money, they truly want you to look and feel your best.

Secondly, from the moment you speak with someone on the phone, to the treatment, to the payment, the service is absolutely amazing. The receptionists are so kind and friendly, and, Justin, the clinic manager, is the sweetest person who goes above and beyond to treat each client with care!

Up until this point, I was already blown away by the level of professionalism, and then I met Dr. Guy. It takes a lot for me to trust anyone, but Dr. Guy immediately put me at ease; he is hands-down the most patient, knowledgeable, and ethical doctor. He takes his time to listen to your needs, educate you on your options, and is incredibly thorough when explaining the step-by-step process. You can tell he truly cares and has your best interests at heart.

Long story short, I had the best experience at The Skin Girls. I went in after a rough day at work and left feeling like a million bucks with the brightest smile on my face. Their compassion and kindness genuinely moved me and made my day, and I will never stop raving about them to my friends and family. Thank you so much for all...
