Pros: Good location Good amenities (gym and pool were nice) Rooms were equipped with kitchen and laundry and were large Cons unfriendly staff Elevators took very long to come during peak hours (you will have to wait and take turns getting on) No housekeeping for short stays , so no new towels etc Bathroom curtain is very flimsy ,water goes everywhere Basic amenities in room (towels, toiletries etc) Very late check in (4 pm) Earlier checkout (10am)
I stayed two nights during August 2025, I initially emailed a few days beforehand to ask for earlier check in time, as I would arrive at the hotel at 9 am, knowing the hotel had a 4 pm check in , which doesn’t seem industry standard (2/3pm) I knew I wouldn’t get anything before 2 pm. I arrived and the staff did not initially greet me, when I gave them my info and asked about early check in was told “they can’t guarantee anything earlier than 4pm” which seems a bit ludicrous considering I had messages them beforehand. I then had to walk around the city before I called the hotel and asked if I can get access to the amenities while I wait for the room, they said yes. It would’ve been much more helpful if they had stayed this earlier before I had to kill 3.5 hrs in the city. Once I arrived to get the card for the amenities I asked again about earlier check in, no real response other than “not sure”. Once I finished at the gym asked again about the room at 2:15pm , still not ready. I then went up at 3:45 pm to be told my room was finally ready. It would’ve been helpful if the staff contacted me when the room was ready instead of me contacting them multiple times to inquire. Staff generally seemed unwelcoming and not willing to help. However, the gentlemen who checked me out was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are large with laundry and kitchen which was nice. However the bathrooms have a very thing shower curtain so water gets everywhere despite a foot towel. With no house keeping , you need to use your limited towels to constantly clean up the water.
I would only stay here if you are looking for more of an apartment/ Airbnb vibe, otherwise I would spend the money and go to a hotel that also includes guest services and friendly staff. I would not stay here again for those reasons, especially considering the rooms rates...
Read moreI stayed here for a week, and the receptionist was professional. However, after I gave her my ID card which is my passport and she checked my name, then she stared at my passport in a strange and inappropriate way, with the intention of harassing me about my passport, as my passport is not Canadian. I strongly reject this behavior. She has nothing to do with me being from a different country, and she has no right to stare at me in this inappropriate manner. It is her duty to focus solely on her work with respect and professionalism. The apartment was nice and had all the basic amenities I needed. The quality of the cookware was very good, which made my cooking experience very good. I liked the balcony, and the bathtub was clean and deep compared to usual. When I was leaving the studio with my luggage, an Asian housekeeper was standing near the elevator on the same floor and asked me in a very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional manner if I was checking out. It's none of her business whether I check out or not. I didn't stay in her studio and didn't pay for my reservation from her money. Instead of saying "hi," or saying goodbye, and smiling professionally and respectfully, she behaved in a very rude, passive aggressive way, unprofessional, and highly unwelcoming manner toward me as a guest who decided and chose to book with them and supported their hotel with my reservation.
The receptionist at my checkout was respectful and professional.
I also experienced some racism in the elevator from some hotel guests, an elderly white male and a white female. They stared at me with very racist, hateful, immature, and disrespectful covert coward stars behind closed door in elevator that exposed them and their very immature, lowly morals, inappropriate for their age. Also, after I checked out, while waiting for my Uber at the hotel entrance, an elderly white hotel guest walked by me, standing in her way just to expose her low morals, social immaturity, and deep-seated hatred. She stared at me with deep hatred, and racism, despite being at an age where she's supposed to be a role model...
Read moreHad a 34 night stay here. The entire team incl Sara, Ali and Sarah were absolutely fantastic! For any long term stay, this is the place to be. The entire staff and team are amazing. They go above and beyond...would definitely stay here again.
Our family of 4 found the 2 bedroom suite to be very spacious, it also included everything we needed for the entirety of our stay. The parking spot we were provided was incredibly beneficial as street parking is available but can be a pain depending on the time of day. Building felt super secure - elevators are room key specific and the parkade also has several gates.
The gym is better than any hotel gym I've seen, and the outdoor pool is great for kids - was always stocked with towels. The building is also walking distance to two supermarkets and one of the nicer playgrounds for the kids.
They have a text messaging service to keep in touch with any requests - an incredible service if you need to reach out for anything (deliveries, restocking supplies, arranging housekeeping). Had several amazon packages delivered and they are very prompt in texting or reaching out to let you know about the deliveries.
Was also great to use the quiet business space on site for phone calls etc when it was available.
a few posts below speak about noise. We have a newborn...in 34 days we only heard someone in the hallway once. Noise was never an issue.
I'd summarize this stay as an airbnb/long term stay with hotel style amenities. Daily house keeping and room service won't be had here...but that's clear from the initial bookings.
This is a great spot with an...
