Accidentally found this spot while we were in the area hunting down Jamaican Patties. My friend came her for the coffee which he praised - he got the cappuccino. But the thing that blew me away was the selection of pastries. The chef is french-trained but her selection was a bit of everything. The first time we went there we had the Lemon Meringue Tart and the Banana Bread. Not a lemon tart kinda guy myself but I would have these ones over and over again - sweet and lemony but not too much of either, just right 👌 The banana bread was warmed up just before they served it to us and was so good my friend went back for them to bring back home. Second time we went we got some pastries with potatoes and tomatoes - they were amazing savoury treats for a breakfast. They were light, fluffy and just delicious - the Tomato pastry with th pesto cream cheese is something I still think about. I wasn't the type to go searching for tomatoes on pastry but I've been won over. The owners are super cool and friendly and create an amazing vibe for the spot. Very hospitable and they went out of their way to create a list of must-try food spots in Vancouver since we were visiting. We even got to sample the lemon cake and a new chocolate bar recipe that is not yet out but it was AMAZING! Highly recommend!

Before I went to get my haircut, I walked by this place and noticed all of their offerings - I definitely had to check it out afterwards. Once I stepped inside this cozy and quaint shoppe, it felt very comfortable to be in, welcoming me with warmth and pastries. After taking a moment to view the offerings, I knew that I wanted a cookie. This day offered Lemon Crinkle, a flourless Chocolate Cookie, and a 'Feel Good' Cookie (probably not the name, but something along the lines of that). I thought I was going to get two cookies, but I somehow ended up with four - not that I'm complaining. In addition to the three flavours, I also received a Chocolate Chip Cookie, which I have yet to try. So far, the 'Feel Good' Cookie was definitely a sweet surprise. Stuffed with seeds, I didn't expect to enjoy the cookie as much as I did; I'm glad to find out that it's also vegan! The Lemon Crinkle Cookie is also delightful, not to strong on the citrus, and I am impressed how the powdered sugar sticks so well... What made this experience especially pleasant are the people. Henry took the time to explain to me the cookies and we had a cheerful interaction, wondering what brought me into the neighbourhood. I would love to work here to learn about their baking, even if it was for a day.

Got an iced matcha latte which was great. Did not get to try the food items, it was right before closing and majority of the baked goods were sold out. Will have to come another time to try the food items, they also have sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Hours are 8-4pm, so they do close pretty early for a coffee shop in this area. Definitely a local small spot, it is also new. Price wise it’s on the pricier end but would be good for meeting up and seating down. The inside atmosphere can be improved upon, there is a good number of seats inside but it’s not the most inviting feel, feels a bit unfinished. The bar seating by the window does not seem to get used, from the outside the coffee shop looks empty, would be smart to put comfy seating next to the window as it brings more customers in when a place looks visited. The small store section in the back is a bit random and makes the space feel small. Adding outside patio seating would improve the feel and also make the coffee shop visible from the road. There is no big sign with the store name outside. I drove on this road for months before I noticed that a new coffee shop opened. The service was great, I think it’s a family run business which is really nice to see. Will come back and look forward to it :)
