I just ordered takeaway food there, I came and picked it up myself, and their soup is just trash, so you understand, some kind of seaweed just doused with boiling water, no taste.I ordered their hamburger, it was so dry that it was as if there was sawdust instead of filling,By the way, these are the names of the supposed dishes... 1.Orange chicken combo 1.Chinese pork burger 1.paper bag Yes, I forgot to add that you also have to pay 15 cents for the package. It would be better if you didn’t write this and just added it to the order. This is just the ravings of a madman. Regarding the orange chicken combo, it’s just a bunch of rice.Minimum chicken, the chicken was in some kind of strange batter to make it look like seaweed, plus it was all very, very sweet, the order didn't say that it was sweet, I would never take it!!!...

Wonderful, tasty Chinese food served by really friendly people in an cheerful atmosphere. We're in Vancouver for a few days and are staying in Kerrisdale, we tried this place on a whim and were so glad we did. We had a combo dinner, which includes a main dish and rice (I had the braised pork with cabbage and my partner had beef teriyaki with mixed veggies), plus a drink or bowl of soup, all for under $20 per person. If we can squeeze in another visit while we're here we will. Can't recommend highly...

After having been here a few times, Jin Wei kitchen has become my favourite eatery to taste traditional Chinese northern style cuisine, conveniently located, warm service, and especially the prices are so attractive given the inflation has made everything unreasonably expensive. The Double Cooked Pork Slices and Fried Slice Streaky Pork were very tasty so were the dumplings and roujiamo. I heard their cold noodles are good too so might give it a try next time, sounds like a good choice on...
