I hesitate to share this gem of a cafƩ with the big wide world as I risk not getting a table in the future! Haha.... But the owners, Christy & Wade, and their super friendly staff, deserve this glowing review, and so here it is.
Every time I go to inBtwn CafƩ, it is like visiting old friends. The welcome they extend to each customer is always very warm and it quickly becomes obvious that they truly care that each of us enjoys our experience there. They have a wide menu of delicious lunch type items, something for every taste, as well as a plethora of tantalizing sweets, all made in house! I am a connoisseur of coffee and the quality of the coffee they serve is excellent, not bitter like some places I could name, but full bodied and bursting with satisfying flavour. I find it's pretty rare in this city to find a cafƩ which has both excellent coffee as well as excellent food. Usually it's one or the other in my experience. InBtwn CafƩ manages to master both!
All in all, this little place is a true hidden gem, located between Granville Bridge and Sunset Beach, in between Vancouver's West End and Yaletown districts, between Pacific Street and the seawall. Do yourself a favour and give it a try, but hey, don't take...

Because it's a little distanced from the downtown core, it avoids the "corporate lunch break" vibe of more central cafes, and instead seems more popular with neighbourhood residents and people coming to/from the beach. I visited them on my lunch break since I had extra time to venture out; it was a nice change of pace. The food is all homemade and that really made a difference, even though what I got was simple stuff. I had a smoked salmon bagel and a pecan pie cheesecake. They were very generous with the salmon but the capers and red onion were sparse - I would have liked more of the vegetables and some greens would have been nice. It was a good sandwich, though, tasted very fresh. They warmed it up just enough to toast the bagel without getting the salmon hot. The cheesecake was really good, with the perfect harmony of crunchy and chewy candied pecans with creamy cheesecake. Pretty affordable at about $16 total after tax. Give them a try if you're in the area and want a simple meal or treat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust stumbled upon my new favourite spot in Vancouver ā Inbtwn Cafe. Itās like finding a unicorn in the middle of the city, but instead of glitter, itās filled with amazing coffee. As a self-confessed coffee snob, I can confidently say their Americano is top-tier ā smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. The kind of cup that makes you question every other coffee youāve ever had.
The vibe? Think cozy art gallery meets seaside chill. Itās right by the seawall, so you can sip your coffee while soaking in those waterfront views. And the owners? Absolute legends. Warm, welcoming, and they clearly know what theyāre doing.
Five out of five, easy. Iāll be sneaking back here any chance I get. If youāre not already a regular, youāre...
