Wanted cheap eggs benedict and found this place. $10.95 for two bennys with bacon and tomato, plus hasbrowns is not bad.
Definitely tastes better than the really cheaper places like Nice Cafe (which has closed down now). They dont cheap out on the bacon and give you full pieces and layers.
Also had the sunriser breakfast. Pancakes probably worse than making my own. The portions were really good.
There is one friendly waitress and one lazy waitress. They speak cantonese so I know everything they said. I was trying to wave to the lazy one to ask to pay and instead, the chef saw me and told her a customer needs attention. She responded "what customer? I don't see anyone who needs me." When she finally saw me, she told the other waitress "go collect the money." She started speaking loudly about anything she wanted thinking that none of the customers understood - including all the different types of ethnic food she hates, and her bladder functions. A star is taken off for this waitress.
I haven't tried the chinese food but this is the old western style non-authentic chinese food that I don't really like so I wouldn't be trying it anyways. Come for...
Read moreHad a craving for western style Chinese food, and decided to give this place a go based on reviews. Ordered General Tsos Chicken, BBQ pork fried rice, and two egg rolls to go. $30.00. The chicken was thick with a sickly sweet mystery sauce, which rendered the chicken pieces a complete soggy mess. I honestly couldn't tell if I was eating chicken meat or a big chunk of batter? It all had the same texture. Then I found a long black hair in the container, definitely not mine. The rice was the greasiest rice I have ever eaten. The egg rolls were SO greasy and oily, that by the time I got them home (about a ten minute drive), the wrappers were soggy and LITERALLY dripped with oil when you picked them up. I simply didn't have the time or energy to take them back to the establishment. Maybe I just caught the kitchen on a bad day, but I certainly won't...
Read moreI've been going to this place for 16 years, and I've never been disappointed, its one of those places where the food is immaculate but its real value is really in the soul of the establishment and its owners. They dont hesitate to give little ones crackers and such, and its a haven for all people, won't stand for racism (which is the bare minimum but there are people like that, and I know for a fact kyles doesn't stand for that) . All the staff are very nice, and they have a massive menu with just about anything you could want, including an incredible breakfast deal from 8-11 am. I love kyles and it for sure...
