If you're on the hunt for a place that serves up bold, mouthwatering flavors with every bite, look no further than Maizal! From tacos to burritos and everything in between, this spot hits all the right notes. • Tacos ($5.95 each) The taco selection here is nothing short of amazing. I tried a few different varieties, and each one was packed with flavor: Campechano: A perfect blend of beef and pork with a delicious smoky flavor. Chorizo minced pork: Spicy and savory with the perfect balance of seasonings. Beef barbacoa: Tender, juicy, and flavorful – the kind of barbacoa you dream about. Shrimp diabla (+$1): Spicy and succulent, this taco had a fantastic kick. Battered shrimp (+$1): Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside – a true winner. Lamb birria: Rich and flavorful, with tender lamb that practically melts in your mouth. Every taco I tried was absolutely delicious, but the standout for me was the shrimp diabla. The perfect combination of heat and savory flavor made it unforgettable. • Rice Bowl ($16.50) I also tried the Pastor roasted pork rice bowl, and it was everything I hoped for. The pork was perfectly roasted, with a tender texture and just the right amount of seasoning. The rice served as the perfect base, complementing the meat beautifully. • Burrito ($17.95) Now, let’s talk about the Carnitas braised pork burrito – The carnitas were rich and flavorful, but the real star was the chipotle mayo. It added such a creamy, smoky kick that elevated the entire burrito to another level. I could honestly have eaten the whole thing just for that chipotle mayo. • I had a slice of Tres Leches Cake ($8.50). It was light, moist, and perfectly sweet. • I tried both the Horchata and the Jamaica Hibiscus Rose. Both were refreshing and full of flavor. The Horchata was sweet and creamy, while the Jamaica Hibiscus Rose was tangy and slightly floral. • Overall, this meal was an absolute treat. The food is flavorful, fresh, and full of...

Read moreHrmmmm I don’t know why Zomato is giving it a 2.5, cos this place is really yummy! The service was friendly even though they don’t speak much English, and the food was delish!
We tried their blue corn sopes which is like this deep fried taco with really fresh herbs and black beans and lettuce and sour cream. I didn’t expect my younger son to like it but I always offer him food to try, and he ate 3/4 of it! 😭 my dinner gone, but it was so yummy and I was glad he loved it so much.
I ordered guacamole and fish taco for kiddies and they ate it all up, even though my older son told me he didn’t like cilantro and gave me a grumpy 😠 face. I had a taste of both and it was super delicious, although I thought $2.75 for a very small side of guacamole was a bit steep.
I tried hubby’s chipotle chicken and it has a kick of chilli. I really liked it but perhaps we are not used to the strong tasting freshly made tacos, it tasted a bit too corny to me, which is of course what it should be like.
Overall I really enjoyed my food there, especially the...
