Read moreThis Maxim's stocks the standard selection of sweet and savoury Chinese pastries. A nice touch here is the hot steamed buns. The baked goods are affordable as expected. It looks like they also have cheap coffee and tea, but cheap in quality, not just prCash only. There are some tables inside or some picnic tables on the nearby closed street. Read moreThis is the edited review. I gave them 5 stars earlier. I’m their regular customer and went to buy thick sliced bread and was short 30 cents I didn’t know that the bread price was increased I had the exact cash. I told the cashier that I wasn’t aware of the price increase because last time I bought it for that price from the Metrotown location so I was carrying only that amount. She said, are you sure? You’re not lying? You’re going to bring 30 cents tomorrow. I said yes 100% but she still seemed very hesitant. I told her that it’s okay I’ll come get the bread tomorrow. Then she took the bread back and said okay. I felt really bad. I’m definitely not going to go to this location again, probably will go to a different one. That’s terrible customer service....
