Nuttea brings something really unique to the Vancouver bubble tea scene. Vegan bubble tea is fortunately no longer that difficult to find, but Nuttea goes a step further by really embracing the nut rather than just making a substitution for dairy. They make their own fresh nut mylk and cream for their drinks. I tried a drink with the cream, the Earl Grey w/ Chocolate Nut Cream. Because it was my first time with them, one of the staff members explained to me how it’s meant to be enjoyed: first taste the cream on its own, then tilt to sip and taste the cream and tea separately before mixing. I definitely recommend following the instructions; I got really caught up in step 2 because the cream was absolutely heavenly on its own and the tea was also very nice, so I didn’t actually mix them until I was more than halfway through the drink, but the result was a silky, creamy drink that was just as good as the cream alone, so I wish I had gotten to enjoy more of that. The chocolate-earl grey combo really works! I got the tea at 0% sweet, and the cream was surprisingly not very sweet either. I liked the bittersweet chocolate flavour with the straight tea, but it’s kind of an intense taste, so don’t get the 0 sugar unless you really mean it. The owners are very nice and passionate about the product. Besides tea and mylk, they also sell vegan baked goods from To Live For and gift shop-type things like candles and jewelry. I would strongly recommend Nuttea to anyone looking for vegan tea/bubble tea, or bubble tea enthusiasts in general that want to try something different! I definitely plan on going back to try more drinks with the nut cream (and mix it...

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience at Nuttea today. When I went to pick up my drink, the female owner didn’t say thank you (despite me thanking her) but she was very friendly to the other customers after me. She made sure to thank them and I also saw how she was extra courteous and generous with the two gentlemen who were there for the first time. I saw staff and the female owner give them extra toppings and items to try. When it was my initial visit to this place, I had told them it was my first time and I never got the same level of treatment those two gentlemen had.

I also only realized they have a stamp card loyalty program after a few visits. When I told them this after finally getting a stamp card, they never bothered to give me the missed stamps from my previous visits.

To add insult to injury, they gave me a lot of ice in my drink which I didn’t want and it made my drink almost tasteless. The tapioca pearls were also too hard.

I really want to support this (and any) establishment that promotes veganism and I hate writing this review, but the inconsistent customer service I’ve received, beverage quality, and unwillingness to ensure my missed stamps are retroactively given makes me not want to support Nuttea anymore....

Not a vegan but I’ve been lactose intolerant forever and this cafe specializes in ✨amazing✨ vegan drinks. I came for their hot chocolate festival 2024 drinks and was very pleasantly surprised.

💗what I ordered:

🐻”bear with me” - a brown sugar ginger hot chocolate, topped with nut cream and house-made chocolate truffle bears

💫”night wish” - a black sesame hot white chocolate, topped with nut cream and agar candies from @sweetpeajelly

🍪each drink comes with 2 vegan butter cookies from @meilulustudio

Guys I am 👏🏻obsessed👏🏻 with the nut cream. I can never have the foam caps at bbt places because it floors me ☠️ so this mouthwatering cream cap is my new hyper fixation 🐿️.

The ginger and black sesame flavours really stand out in each drink and the portion sizes are really generous!

🧋 They also have a wide variety of vegan bubble teas that 100% pass the bbt flavour test (trust when I say)

These 2 hot cocoa drinks are only available until ❗️February 14 (2 weeks)❗️so make your way there if you haven’t already 😋

I am so happy that there is a plant-based, dairy-free bubble tea shop here in Vancouver. They even make their nut milk fresh daily. It's comprised of cashew, walnut, and macadamia milk (and they don't use any additives). I ordered one of the seasonal drinks they were offering - Dragonfruit Tea with Nut Cream on top. The dragonfruit tea was very refreshing and the nut cream was just absolutely delicious. Needless to say, I finished the drink very quickly. I'm definitely coming back here to try their other drinks. I want to try their nut milk tea next time (with the nut cream topping, of course.) Overall, service was great because their staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining what their drinks are and I got my drink quickly even though they were quite busy. Price is similar to other bubble tea shops. There’s metered street parking available right in front of the store, but we were able to find free parking which was just a few blocks away. Definitely a must try bubble tea shop for everyone, but especially to those who are lactose intolerant. I wish they open more locations in the future.

I got the night wish and my mom got the bear with me from the hot chocolate festival. Was super good! I recognized the name cause they also have a store in Macau, however I didn't try it in Macau. Love that everything is vegan and make things in house. The butter cookies were great. They crystal candies were good, was expecting it to be crunchy and the bear was good. My mom loved the ginger and thought the cream wasn't too much. Loved the sesame but was definitely full after. Will have to come back and try more drinks. Store is small but cute and they also offer other merchandise like candles, jewellery etc. Love that everything is vegan and I can now have vegan bubble tea!

10/10 this place is truly amazing! It doesn’t matter if you’re vegan, lactose intolerant or just love a good drink- the nut mylk is home made (daily!) and please try the nut cream wow. Haven’t had something good like this before - chocolate lovers be advised to try the chocolate flavored cream! I had the oolong boba with nut mylk (without preservatives and it consists of Cashew walnut and macadamia) -> just amazing Go for the grape tea as well - they use great fruits with amazing fresh quality These drinks are unique and it doesn’t matter if you’re into matcha, boba or normal tea - just go ahead and thank me later for the recommendation hehe
