Poor service and we got double charged! No apology from restaurant manager and he even blamed us order too early!!
Yesterday, we ordered take out from Olympia Pizza Kits instead of dine-in. My friend placed order and paid at restaurant, she gave waitress the name of person and time for pick up. When I went there to pick up and they also took payment from me. Later, my friend and I found out that they double charged us and there’s nothing indicate on the receipt that order already paid.
I went back to restaurant and told waiter that they double charged us. Waiter don’t know what to do and I was waited for 10 minutes. Then waiter said that manager will call me back. I provided him all the information.
Next day, I waited, and I called restaurant around noon. Apparently, the restaurant manager have no clue and I have to provide him the info. over again. He called back 1.5 hours later and asked me the same info. that I already provided twice. He said: “daytime staffs and evening time staffs are different; you don’t have to order food so early. That is what happened….”
I was very upset what restaurant manager said. I mentioned that my friend placed order and paid at noon because she was busy in the afternoon. That is NOT customer’s fault, there’s no communication between restaurant employees…
While I was talking, Then restaurant manager just interrupted and he said:” I will give you money back and I am not sure why you are so excited! Well, that is the issue with our staff.”

Read moreWas there for our annual family Christmas Eve dinner Dec 24 2015. The service was great as usual and everyone enjoyed their meal. But I became violently ill a few hrs later and had five sessions of throwing up and each session I threw up between five to 8 times. The entire house was awake from 3 am onward as I was throwing up so violently. My son had to drive to the only all night drugstore on Broadway to pick up some gingerale and gravol for me. It did not stop me from being sick but did help me to sleep in between bouts of puking. I was sick every 30 to 40 minutes from 3 am until almost noon on Christmas Day. It ruined our Christmas morning and I we were all exhausted trying to make our Christmas dinner as we had company all arranged for the day and eve. Not happy. Found out from chefs we know and medical professional that due to it being salad I had and the amount of time it hit me later that it was definitely food poisioning from my salad. All I had was a salad which no one else had. No one else was sick and although very tired and weak I was back to normal by later afternoon. Just very tired and lost my appetite for several days after but no other symptoms - no aches, no pains the rest of my visit. I had come down from Penticton for a short visit and it was very important to us as a family to enjoy our Christmas Day together. What a shame that I was so sick and it kept all of us awake almost the...
Read moreFantastic! As the saying goes, “a pictures can say a 1000 words” my pictures fill the 3000 word quota. Service was fast, effecient and very freindly, which made us feel welcome and proud, that we were bringing out-of-town visitors who were impressed by these qualities. We were four, and two ordered the Calamari dinner - perfect in every way! Portion size, lightly battered, tender, tons of flavour with the right amount of seasoning. The Ribs were slow roasted and nicely seasoned too. Just salt and pepper and some light seasoning to enhance the tender pork meat. Anyone who expects sauce will be greatly disappointed, but they should know that this is how the Greeks do their ribs, unlike Southern USA versions where a BBQ sauce is applied before or after the roasting. These three dishes came with lemon baked potatoes, that were velvety smooth with the distinctive lemon overtones baked in olive oil - yum! And finally the Olympia Pizza (House Special). A beautiful full and fluffy crust, with generous fresh toppings inclusive of shrimp in nearly every bite. We all walked away full, VERY full! I can hardly wait...
