I went to Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar to meet a girl.   I can't really think of a better reason to go to a bar, then to meet a girl, especially a pretty one.  Even straight girls would probably agree with me on that one.  I'd share a picture but she hates cameras, unless it's her own.  All things considered, it was a small price to pay. First of all I think it's fair to say that bars have never been about food and drink.  They're about people, communication, and human connection.  Hanging out with friends and family, and making moments.  Rogue Wetbar is a good choice for this job.  It's not pretentious or exclusive.  It seems to be open to any and all. I'd never been to Rogue on Broadway before but I've walked past it a lot because West Broadway is a very popular street and it's a block from the Broadway-City Hall train station. My trip to Rogue happened on a Thursday night.  Which I prefer because the light is more dramatic.  I'm still not sold on that single R in the word Rogue being red and the rest of the letters are not.  Interesting design choice 🤔 but it does get your attention.  Which may be the point. I sat in the Wetbar, at the bar, right on the far end so I could have a good view of the establishment.  I liked the layout. There was ample seating, comfy chairs, good lighting, nice ambiance, and a very nice bartender.  I also liked the beer he recommended.  A 1664 Kronenbourg.  It was quite good for being non-alcoholic.  So good I would actually return to Rogue just for the beer. 🔥 I didn't order any food because we were just having drinks, but the menu looked good to me.  However, I'm not really a foodie, I just like taking pictures of it.  The dining area looked fine from a distance and seems equally well in design and layout.  There is a large patio space as well, that is adjacent to the dining room. My only caveat with the Wetbar experience was the music.  Most bars crank the music too loud and Rogue was no different.  If the volume had been a little lower the vibe would have been perfect.  Then I could have understood what the girl was actually saying.  But I get it, it's a business first and a bar second.  Loud music supposedly increases sales of alcohol and encourages people to not loiter in the bar…talking to pretty girls.  Even coffee shops crank the music too high for similar reasons. Edit: About the music. We went back to Rogue on a Saturday and Sunday, but this time we sat in the dinning (lounge) area and the music was much lower. It was great. So sit in the lounge if you want to talk. I also tried the Warsteiner non-alcoholic beer and it was great. As was the onion rings and the salt & pepper chicken wings. 👍🏼👍🏼

Not too long ago, my girlfriend and I were kind of tired eating downtown, so we decided to shake things up and pay a visit to this Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar. We both had to do a combination of walking, skytraining, and bussing to get there, so we were hoping the food was going to make it worth it. Rogue has a pretty standard menu that'll satisfy most anyone, so we didn't have a problem finding items that we wanted to eat. The Nachos had their chips practically all stuck together, so we were pulling the chips apart to eat them. And there wasn't enough guacamole or sour cream for all the chips. The flatbread tasted fine, although we both joked that we should send it back because every slice had basil except the last one. The Avocado, Tuna Concoction that my girlfriend ordered tasted "healthy," according to her. You can take that however you want to. As for myself, I was very happy with the Lobster Mac and Cheese and wolfed it down in no time. Overall, it was hit and miss. If I was dining in again, I would probably try some different appetizers. Online, though, I was able to order their Steak and Cajun Salmon Risotto, both of which taste amazing. Naturally, I had to get the Lobster Mac and Cheese, too. There's something for everyone, so I'd recommend you try this place out.

The quality of Rogue has changed a lot, we placed our order with Ubereats 20 minutes before closing time. Overall they were not bad but if I give details, the french fries they sent before were open - square box, now they changed it to a closed box, very bad choice, the french fries are soggy and change shape by the time arrived home. We ordered 2 fish tacos, they didn't taste very good to me, they used to be tasty, there is an inconsistency in taste. Actually we ordered this because of the tomato soup. My boyfriend was sick and he liked the soup. He said it was not bad but not like soup, it had a solid texture, not like soupy, I wish you sent croutons on the side. One last thing, the tomatoes in the pico de gallo tasted terrible, I mean they smelled like tomatoes that had been waiting, you know the smell of tomatoes from yesterday. My overall score is 2.5, there have been changes in quality but not in a good way, and it wasnt worth to $76.

This is hit n miss for us. Salad, soup and bowls amazing. Our last experience, was not so great. Christine was great trying to accommodate.( we had a messed up order)

We deferred to another day, to pick up our replacement meal. We called ahead gave a time to pick up. Due to traffic wear delayed. Advised a head of time. So called 3 times. On the last call..told our replacement meal of a beyond burger couldn't be made as the ran out before they could fill ours. Bob did not let is know previously on any call that had happened. Ample times to let us know. Plus our order had previously been incorrect. They knew we ordered this Vegan Burger. We are high risk so curbside pick and pre order was the whole reason to do it through the phone. We were left arriving 5 min early. To be told we had to wait and his replacement burger ,( beyond) not available. Choose something else on the spot. Why not tell us on the phone. Let us choose safely and not on the spot. Instead of lemme check your order, not call us and come out with menu and tell us not 6ft apart we ran out. They threw in a cheesecake to say sorry. Great for my husband but not me im diabetic. Definitely, could've done better. Think we will skip this place for awhile. Its a gamble on our takeout. Dine in might be a ...
