I was hopeful for good food here since there were lots of people and good reviews, but I was disappointed. A tempura udon with California rolls was $20 which is the same price as a sit down restaurant (this spot was self serve). The food took a long time to arrive even though I only got 2 items. California rolls were tiny and didn't taste fresh. Udon was extremely plain, literally tasted like noodles in water. I added soy sauce to it to be able to eat it. Tempura was small and tasted like really old frying oil. I was disappointed that their menu outside listed tempura udon as having 4 pieces, but they changed their menu inside and only gave 3 -- it's quite deceitful. I won't be...

But, they have fantastic lunch specials on weekdays and, even when there's a huge line, they're quick and you won't be waiting your entire lunch break for your lunch. As for the atmosphere, it's unique, having to climb down a windy staircase to a small underground eating area, which also makes it not wheelchair accessible. It's also pretty small, so getting seating at the lunch rush can be tricky. Overall, it's clean, tasty and well priced sushi!...
