Be careful of mis-advertising! Don’t call your menu item ā€œPEARL TEAā€ if it doesn’t come with pearls. If you want me to pay for pearls just say ā€œmilk teaā€ and I will add pearls to my order. What a disappointment! ***EDIT: Oof, that response is a little passive-aggressive for a business reply. I understand mistakes happen, and I wouldn't have left a review over a one-time issue if it was handled better. That said, I only used the word ā€œmis-advertisingā€ because the drink was labeled ā€œPearl Teaā€ but came without pearls — which felt misleading, especially with no clarification. I wasn’t trying to accuse, just to point out how it could be interpreted by customers. I’ve ordered many times before and have enjoyed the drinks, but the tone of the response says a lot. Customer service needs A LOT of improvement! Pros: - Bubbletea is good and seem to be consistent with other Sharetea. Cons: - The workers are REALLY slow, I literally watched the new guy move his hands slow-mo, it felt like I was watching a TV show and it was a dramatic scene. I guess he's new, and lost I guess... so I pretended to look at my phone as I wait for 10 minutes for my drink... although I was the only one who ordered at the time. - I had a free drink to redeem, but it was only for regular size, I was okay to pay the upcharge of $3 but they said cash only because they don't allow card payments at that cost cause it was too low, since I didn't have cash, they didn't allow me to get the upsize. They should have a sign that says that if that is the case.

I had their tiger milk tea, which is just a fancy way of calling the brown sugar milk tea. The pearls are soft and the drink was decent. I asked for no ice, but there was ice in my drink. The staff quickly fixed that tho. I think the cashier can be a little friendlier, like a smile maybe. And... I think OneZo is still best. Btw, their bathroom needs major attention! Looks like it hasnt been attended to for a few weeks. Its quite gross for a restaurant. Don't want to go into details. And I can handle quite a bit too. I handled Vietnam with no problem, and this place was worse. Manager or owner, please train your staff to care for your restaurant. Washroom should be checked like, once every few hours.

We've been to this location multiple times before and we always get the same drinks. After paying for the drinks, I stepped aside and realized my partner's drink was already done. Because it wasn't busy, I just stood there watching, interested in how they were making my drink. Let me tell you, it was not being made well from what I could see. The young lady making my drink was constantly stirring the pale looking liquid in the drink shaker, I presume the liquid was the tea base. She kept reaching for the steel drum containing tea or water, filling the shaker with more liquid? I think as I briefly looked away, she filled the shaker with some more water again? Then she filled a small container with what looks like molasses, something dark, assuming it is either going to make the tea base darker and/or sweeter? If the reason was to make tea darker, I can assure you it didn't make a difference because my tea looked pale beige. I am watching this young lady stirring, diluting, stirring some more, add 'molasses', add ice, shake the liquid, pour liquid into the plastic cup, seal it and done. All this while the cashier who took my order, was standing next to her. Both of their backs turned away from the front counter but I can still clearly see how my drink was being handled. I didn’t understand how the cashier was helping. Not to be too harsh but the two of them seemed like those cartoon characters that are up to no good skulking around dark corners. At least that is how it felt to me. I would note that the cashier was not friendly at all. When I walked in cheery and said, hello how are you, it was met with a blank stare from him. I normally have zero expectation to be greeted with excellent customer service, so this blank stare from said Sharetea cashier, didn't bother me in the way it may bother others. However, it is too bad that we can't expect good service anymore. Anyway, I normally would be a bit cheeky when someone is unfriendly, by asking the question again and again, "how are you", until I finally get an answer, lol. But today, I was in a hurry so I didn't want to play around too much and just placed my order.

I walked back to the car with the drinks, feeling uneasy. By watching my drink being made, it did not invoke confidence that the pale looking drinks I had in my hands would taste good. I was shaking my drink to distribute all the pearls and the liquid leaked out. I didn’t want to fuss by going back in to get that fixed, so I cleaned up the spill and took a sip of my drink and it was meh meh bleh. Just watery. A hint of tea taste/aroma, but really just similar to drinking straight up sugared water. My partner offered a taste of the other drink and it was no better. Eww. I sat there telling my partner about the experience, who suggested we just ask for new ones made. LOL, so innocent. I replied with, "sadly this is not Starbucks, these people here will soon enough blame us for how bad their drinks tasted, rather than admit something isn't right, then go and make it right for us. Let’s just goā€. So we left. Just got home and wanted to get this off my chest. It's my last time coming here. Is tea base that expensive? To the point where it has to be diluted so much that it taste like water? It’s sad because we've been here a handful of times so we had high hopes they will keep consistently making our faves just right. We don't live close to Richmond Sharetea, which is our preferred location. So far for the last 4 years, the Richmond location has not once messed up our drinks and we have had a few different staff member make them. It's never tasted watery. I do expect that one day they might mess up because no one is perfect and no company is perfect, although I hope not, fingers crossed.

I personally think it’s hard to screw up bubble tea other than the cook on the pearls. Qualify your staff, hopefully they're not your family-friends, just keep the good ones and let the bad ones go because they don't care about customers, hygiene and quality of their work. They have ruined your company and will...

I've leaving 2 stars because of the horrible customer service I received during my visit with family.

We got an Oolong Tea Creama, a Red bean TorDa, and a hot Ginger Tea. The drinks were great (I absolutely loved the Oolang Tea Creama) and we thought the TorDa was rather interesting. The customer service on the other hand, was outrageously horrible.

We went on a early Friday afternoon, not many customers in the store, and there were 2 Asian girls behind the counter. Both were laughing, sneering and whispering to each other while we decided what we were going to order - no hello, no greeting whatsoever. When we were ready to order, the taller Asian girl took our order and she was fine conversing in English up until I told her I'd also like a cup of hot water as well, and I don't mind if I have to pay for it. She looked at me like I was speaking in Alien or something, because she turned around to the shorter girl and asked her in Mandarin if it was ok to give me hot water. The shorter girl said "ok", and they started making our order. 15 mins later, we got our drinks and TorDa, but no hot water. I went and asked her again if I could get a cup of hot water, and I would be willing to pay for it. She acknowledged me, and told me that she'd bring it over momentarily. Another 10 mins passed, and still nothing. They had hot water, and not busy with another customer, but they somehow didn't want to give it to me. I had to ask them a third time in a rather upset tone to finally get that cup of hot water. There wasn't a language barrier, I just don't know why they took so long, and they didn't even bother apologizing or explaining the reason why I had to wait 25 mins for that water. I hope they improve their customer service, or else I will not be coming back to...

Terrible experience I ever have in my life ... I went with my sons today ( 1 : 4yearolds 1: almost 3 ) I came around 12 :15 ( they just opened ) I saw the floor too wet , I told my older son ā€œ please be careful ā€œ and I think in my mind ā€œ Why they didn’t put a sign for everybody can attention Or why they didn’t let the floor dry before open because it’s so dangerous Especially with children, .!.. When I order already, They told me have to wait about 6 minutes because pearls is not ready yet, I said it’s okay I can wait... When I picked up my younger son to help him sit down on the chair, I felt down... 😭😭😭( although I was attention when I came in. But finally I was victim) my whole back on the floor...lucky for me my son still on my body ( he was scared and crying 😭 ) and my head hasn’t hit the floor yet . Just only lady who bought bubble tea came to help me stand up.. Others people in shop just look at me .. that’s it šŸ˜ž The most sad thing was when the staff comes out they never ask me anything as ā€œ are you okay ā€œ or ā€œ we so sorry about that ā€œ they just came out and open the door for the floor dry faster 😭😭😭 I feel so upset ... my older son saw mom and his brother like that he’s so sad and little scared too .... When I go home, I lay my back on my bed I feel pain on my waist I think I should go to doctor to check up ! I almost never write any review on google or anytthing else but I don’t want to have other...
