If I could rate this experience a 0, I would. My entire apartment building received flyers for Straight Outta Brooklyn Pizza advertising that they now deliver. We decided to try it for our weekly pizza delivery. I called up the Main location, gave them my address of Main and East 2nd for delivery, and the guy said "we don't go to East 2, just West 2." Well, your map shows that you go to Main and 2nd, so, if I'm at the corner of Main and 2nd, what's the problem? The fact that my address has "east" in it? The guy said they just don't deliver to our area, and that we should try the Kingsway location instead. I check the map of where Kingsway delivers to...nowhere near us. To sum up, you have to spend over $25 in pizza, plus a $3 delivery fee, plus be within a 2 minute drive from one of their locations, all for the privilege of getting your pizza delivered. Nice business strategy guys. I'm sure you'll do really well with all of the buildings juuuuuuust out of your delivery zone that received a "we deliver" notice at their doors...they be eager to get in their cars after just getting home from work so that they can pick up their pizza since it can't be delivered. Good luck with that one 👍🏻 . See my picture for the delivery zones I'm referring to, and compare them to where I actually am on a map.

It is okay pizza. It’s not really Brooklyn-style pizza though. As a former Brooklynite who loves NYC pizza I have perhaps a more stringent bar. The crust had virtually no char and the sauce lacked flavour. When you fold it, the crust should be crispy enough that it audibly crackles. No idea why they insist on cutting a 15” pie into only 4 slices so you can fold it in half “like a New Yorker.” These slices should be cut in half (the size of a regular NY slice) then you can fold THAT in half. A slice does not have to be double/huge to fold. Overall it’s fine as an everyday pizza, but saying it is “straight outta Brooklyn” as per their sign is a bit of wishful thinking and will ultimately lead to disappointment to those who are hopeful that it might taste anywhere close.

Delicious crust, horrible value. $23 for a "meat lovers" and I don't eat cheese, so I get it cheeseless, but no spices, I asked for black olives, nada... You'd think for that price I would get more than $3 worth of deli meat on it, but clearly not. For a pizza city this is one place I will not be going back to. Other review on margherita pizza beside my meat lovers from the person who paid $21 for theirs was "it's bland". Again, dough is tasty but that's the cheapest part... Really disappointed with the value.

Unfortunately the customer service at this specific location has really left a bad taste in my mouth. The 2 ladies that work the cashier and warm up peoples pizza are completely miserable and unfriendly. Unfortunately they have both given me very unfriendly vibes the last few times I went in there. But today the girl named Catalina or Catarina was INSTANTLY bitter with me the second I entered as I was standing in the door way while struggling to hold the door open so that I could be close to my toddler that was in his stroller outside the door and clearly she didn't like that for whatever reason. I cannot carry my stroller up full of groceries and a toddler up the stairs as they don't have a ramp. Once ordering my pizza, I asked to add another slice to my order. Mind you she hadn't even put the other slices in the oven to warm them yet. I asked her seconds after she started gathering the slices for me. She instantly had annoyed body language and a very miserable look on her face. She could very clearly see that I was trying to stand in the door way with my son in the stroller because theres no ramp to get my stroller up the stairs. I was very clearly struggling. Instead of her just passing me the wireless machine to pay with my debit, she presses the button and walkes away. Then I said something. I said out loud "oh it's wireless, you very easily could have just handed it to me given the circumstances" and she instantly snapped and started yelling at me to not come back to her store. Yelling while my toddler sat watching and listening. I looked her straight in the face and spoke over her saying "if your having a bad day don't take it our on your customers" and "if you don't like your job get a new one" and she continued yelling over me and tried saying "you've done this before" which is a thousand percent a bold face lie. I've been nothing but polite and a very good customer. She is either mixing me up with someone else or lying. Only time I'm ever not smiling is when the girls that work at the front are giving me very miserable vibes. Catarina was extremely unprofessional. She then threw my pizza into the box in a pile on top of eachother after not even warming it long enough. I therefore ended up taking pictures of the pizza. It was folded up and in a pile and going soggy. As a single mother that was an unnecessary waste of almost $20. One thing I would like to say to her is my mother just died earlier this week and it's been awful. Aside from that it was supposed to be a special day for my son. I did everything I could to give him a special day and she completely ruined it. Catalina or Catarina, you have no idea what people are going through in life so maybe try being more kind! Let's not forget her telling me to call the owner when I asked her name. I will be trying to contact the owner. Her behavior was completely unprofessional. Whether or not I was in the wrong does not justify the way she behaved on the job. She is being paid to do a service. Just to add, my sons father and my neighbour had also said they experienced the same attitude from the cashier at this location many times so it...

I was a big fan of this pizza place when it first arrived on Main Street and had enjoyed ordering from them a few times. Recently, I feel they have had a lot of issues either with their overall management, internal processes, or training processes. One instance as an example; when I called in to order two pizzas for pickup, the lady on the phone was having difficulty understanding my order. She tried to ask for help from - what I’m guessing is - her manager and he simply told her it’s because people are trying to call in while the phone was being used. He seemed very dismissive of the whole situation and didn't help the lady, and we continued trying to talk out my order. It wasn't working, she didn't understand me and I could tell English wasn't her first language so it wasn't her fault, but manager should have stepped in earlier, because after trying to place my order for the 5th time, I gave up and just asked if I could speak to someone else if it might be easier because it didn’t seem like we were getting anywhere. I got the manager on the phone and finally had my order placed and was told to pick it up in 20 minutes. I purposely arrived at 25 minutes after because I didn't want to pay for more than 5 minutes of parking and I figured 10 minutes was enough buffer time for them. As I was waiting in line to pay for my order, I was behind two people, but as I got closer, a man decides to suddenly budge in front of me. The staff clearly saw that I had been waiting in line for a while now and they still let him order ahead of me - I believe it's because the manager knew this person based on the way they conversed like friends. I honestly just wanted to get my pizza and go home and forget about the experience because I was very hungry and tired. I paid to get my pizza, and tipped 15% and lo and behold, the pizza was not ready yet. I renewed my parking and waited about 5 minutes and got my pizza, but then as I was walking out, I realized one of the pizzas was the wrong order and so it had to be remade. At this point, I had to renew my parking for a second time. They told me 5 minutes, so I paid for more parking for a third time, but 5 minutes turned into 10 minutes, which then turned into 15 minutes, and I kept renewing my parking. I was quite tired and upset at this point, but luckily the manager came out and handed me the pizza after the additional 15 minutes. Although I'm sure he knew I was upset, he did not genuinely apologize (or apologize at all, really), and was again quite dismissive of the whole situation. I would have appreciated communication that it would take longer than the promised 5 minutes and that they show some sign of taking it seriously. In all honestly, I just felt they didn't care that much about me as a customer as the manager spent most of the time chatting up other customers whilst I was waiting for my food. I don't mind him chatting with others, but during all that time, he probably should have considered communicating with me that the promised timing was wrong. 1 start because Straight Outta Brooklyn Pizza is good pizza, but I would not recommend going to this...
