Subway — Restaurant in Vancouver

Horrible experience! Tday is Sunday April 27th, 2025 at 10:55 am. The lady in the counter was expremely rude. She pretended she couldn't understand my dad just cause he had a different accent. I went and kindly asked for the egg and bacon sandwich he was asking for and she just had a horrible attitude over and over. I asked for a coffe and she just said: "no coffee". My dad is here visiting so I was so embarrassed. I let him know Canadians are usually so kind and polite. I had to mentioned that the woman who was making food for us seemed to be from somewhere else as well as she also had an accent. I am guessing she was from India. While she was making the sandwich she dropped some of the egg on top of where the lettuce was and she grabbed it and put it back on the sandwich. I didn't say anything.. just wanted to get out of there. I paid for my food and...

This Subway seems to be independent from all other Subway restaurants because they don't honour coupons received in the mail. Had a coupon for one of the refreshed footlongs for $9.49 and when I was ready to pay, they asked me to scan it myself at the till, which I did. I tapped my credit card right after as I was in a rush, but noticed after it was processed that I was charged the regular price of $15.00 for the sub. I asked why it didn't work and they told me the coupon doesn't' work at their store, but it can be used at other restaurants, even though they asked me to scan the coupon in the first place?

Their sandwiches are also terribly put together. If there were more options for lunch in the area, this Subway would certainly be out of business based on how poorly they operate. They are incredibly lucky there are only a few sandwich...

This Subway is quite fast, but they are usually "out" of whatever you are looking for. Even if they aren't. For example, today they didn't have the bread I wanted and told me they were out of green pepper. Attached is a picture of the green peppers they were out of.

The saving Grace for this place is that you can be in and out in a few minutes. Not the greatest care or love goes into your sandwich, but it is a Subway after all. Usually you have 3-4 staff working the lunch rush and the backwards line moved rather quickly. I wouldn't go back to this location if I could avoid it. Hygiene probably isn't the highest during peak times as they don't change gloves between handling money and your food. I didn't die so no...
